  Let me just say, my family has been using Riverbend for as long as I can remember. We’ve had dogs since I was 6, so it’s been over 20 years now. My parents have had 6 dogs in that timeframe, 2 of which passed essentially from old age, 2 that are still currently living, and 2 that have been so terribly misdiagnosed and put on the back burner by this place that it physically makes me sick. A 2 1/2 year old Great Dane that “oh could never have cancer, she’s too young” that we had to take to ANOTHER facility for a second opinion, only for her additional scans to light up like a damn Christmas tree with a softball size mass on the back of her heart, and spread all throughout her body that was misdiagnosed as reoccurring KENNEL COUGH for over half a year, and now a little 11 year old Chihuahua that they refused to see because when my mother called to make him an appointment for vomiting and refusing to eat, they brushed her off and told her to just give him some chicken and rice and that an appointment with them was just unnecessary. Well now a few weeks later, THAT dog is frail and emaciated except for the beach ball sized belly that he has, and now has since died in his bed, in my parents house, probably suffering because they didn’t want to see him. Go to this place if you want your sick pets misdiagnosed for months, improperly treated, or just straight up refused to be seen at all when they need it. 👍

  Excellent care!!! Been going there for around 15 years took care of my first dog and now my new dog!

  I just got off the phone with the receptionist. Explained my situation with my dog. He's very bad off thanks to the animal hospital of Bettendorf, anyways. The woman said maybe I can call around and crap like that. I don't want my dog to suffer and she turns me away. Obviously there not as great as the reviews say.
