  Do not take your pet here for grooming. My 10lb Havapoo was cut opened by a groomer and required 14 stitches. I was told on the phone it was just a nic and he shouldn't require vet care. I arrived to see flesh coming through a gaping gash. I took him to an emergency vet who placed him on antibiotics and stitched him up. The manager set up an appointment for me to come in and have the head groomer complete the groom because my pup only had a partial cut before being sliced open. I arrived to have him touched up at the time agreed on, to be looked at by the groomer like I was insane. I will say Petco coved all medical expenses without any hassle. I appreciate that. However, I paid for the upgraded service of one on one care for an anxious dog to find out the groomer who cut my dog was the only one in site and couldn't have provided the service I paid additional for. The only way this type of cut could have happend was with the groomer going to fast. There had been other minor issues over the years but at this point in time I will be going to another outlet for care for my pups. If I can figure out how to post pictures I will!!

  Way too expensive compared to other retailers! Easily $5-25 more on similar items elsewhere, cute stuff but way overpriced
