  If I could give a negative review or no stars, I would. You would hope that the vet would be a comfortable and safe place to take your furry baby but this place is far from it. We used to take our dog to the libertyville animal hospital for check up and boarding but never again. We once took her for a check up and she came back with a large cut that she definitely didn’t have before. Ever since then, she’s been terrified to go. I don’t recommend. There’s plenty of other animal hospitals that won’t hurt your precious pet. Shame on this place.

  Respectfully, I will not be returning to this facility. My pet had 3 sutures (stitches) from a surgery he had done prior to me moving to Libertyville. I didn’t want to drive the two hours back to my original vet for a 5 minute appointment but at this point I believe I should have. The doctor was incapable of removing the final suture while struggling with the prior two. Instead of trying to see how he could get it undone, he dug into my cats skin and cut a chunk of his skin off with the suture in it. This created a new wound where we just spent two weeks letting it heal. I should’ve stopped the appointment when I saw the red flags and lack of communication between the facility, doctor, and myself. But i trusted the doctor to handle it differently and he didn’t. Save yourself the time, Money, and troubles and go elsewhere. His staff were kind and that was the only upside.

  I was recommended this place from a friend. Every time I've been there all of the staff has been super helpful for this new kitten parent. Scheduling is a breeze and they offer a military discount!
