UNFORTUNATELY, we got the backup Vet, like a bad substitute teacher... She Started the entire conversation by what she was not going to do after I followed the instructions of full-time veterinarian to sedate my dog, with drugs that location prescribed, and my dog that was muzzled.. she refused to do any examination..... Then she shared some information completely out of context about us having another veterinarian, that had nothing to do with the visit... And then began to chastise us about the dose that we used that was actually prescribed by that location.....

I had a disappointing customer service experience when I called today at approximately 4:14 p.m. to request my dog Brodee’s medical records for his veterinary appointment the following morning. At the beginning of the call, I provided my name, my dog’s name, and my previous phone number. A short time later, I was asked again for the pet’s name and the owner’s name, even though I had already provided that information. Throughout the call, I found myself repeating the same details multiple times. The representative, who identified herself as Jan, repeatedly told me that neither my records nor my dog’s records existed in the system. This happened several times. It wasn’t until I explained that another veterinary office had confirmed my records were on file from previous visits in 2024 that she decided to verify the spelling of my last name, Alexander. Once she corrected the spelling, my records appeared immediately. Unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment or apology after I had been repeatedly told that my records did not exist. After locating the records, the conversation shifted to informing me that my dog was overdue for a rabies vaccine. I had already explained that he had a veterinary appointment the next morning and that the purpose of my call was simply to obtain his medical records. I had to redirect the conversation back to my original request. Before ending the call, I asked her to verify the email address she was sending the records to because it was read back very quickly. I also had to ask twice for her name before she identified herself as Jan. I understand mistakes happen, and I don’t expect perfection. However, I do expect careful listening, accurate communication, and accountability when an error is made. A simple apology and a greater focus on the reason for my call would have made this a much better customer service experience.

I had a 3:45 pm appointment to get my dog a routine exam and get treated for her allergies. I was there for 2 plus hours and they charged for everything ear exam, skin exam, and even blood work which I thought was included in the routine exam. The first quote was for $400 and I explained it was outside my budget…. They come back with another treatment plan that was $600 …. I went back and forth explaining I could not afford those prices and wound up paying $330 at the end. Which was still too expensive. And I have the premier plus plan for my dog which only took off $86 from the bill. I explained to the nurse that my dog has a long history of seasonal allergies and occasional ear infections and recommended medications the previous vet prescribed but the nurse kept ordering all these test and numerous medications that I couldn’t afford. Once my annual subscription is over I’m going back to PetSmart which provides 2 annual exams per year, blood work and preventative care evaluations along with drop off service . Also they do not have a restroom for the customers and I was told to go to Ross department store while I waited almost 3 hours to be seen for an appointment. Then the employee on the register had no idea how to redeem perk rewards so I could apply them towards the final bill. Overall experience was terrible.

I have an appointment for my daughter's cat and I have a coupon for free vet visit and when I arrive the assistant told is going to be between 200 to 400 after visit and I said but why I never paid 200 for the first visit is a wellness check up she said you put some issues with your cat and I say I don't know the results that's why I brought him today and I said my daughter can't afford to pay 200 to 400 for the first visit and she said we'll we don't know after the vet see your cat and I said thank but I can't afford it I don't know how much is gone be so I just cancel my visit unfortunately hopefully I can find some other clinic at lower prices. And it shows missed appointment wawooooo.
