They took great care of my dog Simba. Great team and I am grateful Dr. Clark is able to do his bladder stone surgery.
I love this vetco location! They’re are super kind and caring. My kitten Milly had unfortunately passed away but Dr.Stuebig helped us so much with caring for Milly before we found out she was diagnosed with Parvo. They also sent us a card in the mail for millys passing that all the workers signed! That warmed my heart & showed that this location truly cares about the animals they care for! Thank you to the amazing team at Elmhurst vetco! ❤️

From the start the staff was friendly and gentle, very aware of the needs of my dog. They shared that they do not share vaccination records with the grooming side of Petco, so make sure you bring the most recent vaccinations to your visit so that they can update the Vetco records.
Staff was very warm, gentle, and considerate. My dog was very nervous, and instead of taking him to the back they decided to do the exam with me in the front. I really liked and appreciate it there efforts and care.

I have to say I was skeptical of using a petstore vet service. My sons cat had some difficutly breathing and was just not himself for two days. The staff showed great concern and immediately gave him some medicine to help with the breathing. They did some tests that showed our cat had asthma. Freaking out with what we would have to do to help him. They immediately calmed our nerves and showed us what we had to do and gave us information to how find other suggestions to help administer an inhaler to a cat. The doctor was very compasionate and I didn't feel like they did any unnecessary tests. I was very impressed. The assistants were very nice and took time to explain everything.

I scheduled a free first-time checkup for my kitten after seeing it advertised online. When I made the appointment, the person on the phone specifically told me to select “illness” as the reason for the visit, so I did exactly that. After driving an hour to the clinic, I was told they couldn’t see my kitten because the appointment was marked as an illness visit and they didn’t have the supplies to treat sick animals. I explained that my kitten wasn’t actually sick and that I only wanted a routine checkup, but I had selected “illness” because that was what I was instructed to do when scheduling the appointment. Instead of trying to understand the situation or help find a solution, the staff were rude and dismissive. He even told me, “Do you want to come behind the counter and see for yourself?” which I found very unprofessional. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience.
