If i could leave 0 stars i would.
We were out of town and my dog sitter called me and stated that my dog had eaten an entire bottle of Advil and broke out of his crate. I immediately called my dad to rush him to the emergency vet and upon calling this disgusting place i was informed you have to call animal poison control or they won’t see him , which is now $115 btw, so i did. They told me to take him to the vet. I paid $115 for them to tell me something I was already doing. When i call back they say well we can’t treat him without the case number from the call. Which I would have had to pay an additional $115 to get, just for them to tell me to bring him to the vet. So you’re telling me through all your years of vet school nobody taught you how to treat a dog that ate an NSAID? Scammers. Called 5 other vets in the area and every single one told me to rush him in and said nothing about calling and paying for poison control. Luckily my dog is ok, but it’s no thanks to this ridiculous place. If your dog eats something it shouldn’t I wouldn’t recommend taking your dog here.
Visited this animal hospital twice and NEVER again! Our cat Hades was brought in after we got back from vacation. I waited 3 hours in the lobby for them to do 1 xray and they said he has a blockage but hes stable and to take my time while I made my way to the rockford emergency clinic. After getting there they a crash cart waiting for my baby because they said that Companion told them he was knocking on deaths door! Thank God I rushed to Rockford because he absolutely was not stable. The fact that they were money hungry enough for the xray is insane and they just pushed us out the door! They should have told me as soon as they did the initial evaluation that they were full and if he needed to be admitted they didnt have room. But nope they wanted that xray money!

I just called for an emergency with my dog with serious pancreatitis and he ate a stick of butter jumped down on the table, as you can imagine , I was an absolute wreck, he started to vomit..they told me they had no time for me and the young girl at the desk had no clue what pancreatius was in no direction on what to do unbelievable, this was so deheartening and disgusting. Don't ever take your animal there, go to thrive in Hoffman Estates, they did an amazing job. I'm still appalled at the absolute ignorance. How is this poison business

Dr. Catherine Febvay is awesome. She treated our dog, Angel, with speed and kindness for her ear laceration last night. We really appreciate everything the staff does, and how kind they are to everyone. Of course we had to wait a little bit but with a stable pet we were more than happy to. They do great work and I watched them treat other guests with the utmost respect and kindness as well.
The vet techs here are great, as well, with one instantly getting Angel’s ear wrapped up upon arrival, and the other explaining discharge instructions very clearly and kindly when Angel was ready to go.
We’ve brought a few pets here for various illnesses or emergencies over the years, and they’ve always been great. Thank you for all the hard work, and for being there when we need you most!!!

Unfortunately, I met their staff under the hardest circumstances, in the middle of the night when our furbaby decided it was time. I will forever be grateful for the care and compassion shown by Nick, Fern, and Dr. DeVold from the moment we walked through the door until the moment we left.
Those final moments are some of the most difficult anyone can face, and they guided us through them with the kind of kindness and support that truly matters. Their professionalism was evident, but what stood out even more was their humanity.
Thank you for doing an incredibly tough job with such grace. We will always remember the way you cared for us and for him.
