Amazing service, everyone very friendly and most importantly fear free. They all made our dog Gary feel confortable, even though he hates going to the vet. Dr Lopez was very clear and friendly during the check ups. Very good exeperience :)

Expensive and predatory. I booked an appointment for my cat who tore her claw on a cat scratcher. Was told after making the appointment that there was a mandatory $126 full body exam that does not even include any treatment. Of course I cancelled, because: "no I don't need my cat's body temperature taken through an anal probe when she's suffering with a broken claw". The one star is for the kind receptionist who gave me the heads-up before I made the drive.

Brought in my dog Darla who is very shy and nervous around people. They did absolutely wonderful with her and were very patient. Would definitely recommend.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but RUN AWAY from this practice.
I’ve never felt such utter distrust toward a medical professional—human or animal—than I did after visiting this office. This experience runs across multiple visits. The overwhelming impression is that every interaction is designed to maximize revenue, not to arrive at the most likely diagnosis or best outcome for your pet.
In my experience, the doctors are incentivized to recommend the most expensive path possible. Even when a common, straightforward explanation is staring everyone in the face, the first recommendation is a long list of costly tests to rule out highly unlikely scenarios before offering basic treatment. Every issue seems to follow the same script.
For example, if a kitten presents with what appears to be a routine case of conjunctivitis, you’ll be pitched hundreds or thousands of dollars in testing before receiving medication. It becomes difficult to believe the recommendations are being driven by medical judgment rather than profit motives.
The result is a level of distrust I’ve never experienced with any healthcare provider. This business model is deeply distasteful, and the practice deserves scrutiny.
I’ll say it again: I have never felt such distrust for any form of medical practitioner before visiting this place.
Find an independent veterinarian and save yourself the frustration. These private equity backed practices are a stain on our community

I have been bringing my cat to West Loop Vet for over four years and my experiences have been inconsistent depending on which vet I see, which makes it hard to give a straightforward recommendation.
The good: Dr. Leslie Juarez-Law has been excellent. She takes thorough notes on my cat's history, responds promptly to emails, and communicates clearly and transparently when building out a treatment plan. Her handling of my cat's osteoarthritis care has been genuinely thoughtful and professional.
The frustrating: My experience with Dr. Alexandra Osborne was a real letdown. She issued an insulin prescription for my cat's diabetes and then went completely silent on my follow-up emails about dosage adjustments. For a condition as sensitive as feline diabetes, that kind of gap in communication is not acceptable, especially at this price point. I ended up relying on online resources to navigate the remission process on my own, which is not what I am paying for here.
My experience with Dr. Steve Larson was also disappointing. After discussing a skin bump, I was presented with a $3,700 treatment plan that included over $2,000 in lab tests, despite the prior conversation already pointing toward a $300 tissue analysis first. After pushing back and removing items I considered redundant, the plan dropped to just over $1,000. That kind of gap between the initial quote and what was actually necessary left me feeling like I was being upsold rather than cared for.
Average: Dr. Paula Pingue has been fine for routine physical exams, nothing to complain.
The clinic has clear potential, but the inconsistency in both communication and billing practices across vets is what keeps this at 3 stars for me.
