I had no idea that there were serious rules to buying gold fish. The girl acted like the Goldfish mafia. She took it to a level that was offensive. I was interrogated too. But I understand protecting our animals and providing the proper environment, but help customers by educating and explaining the reasons why buying a simple goldfish is different now a days. Don't talk down to me, and be condescending. I took the harsh info and bought what was needed else where and I'm glad my money was spent at a pet shop that was much nicer and pleasant. I now have a beautiful filtered tank and all the bells and whistles filled with 3 fishes 🥰🩷💕 You snooze you Loose. Glad I didn't spend my money at petco on Roosevelt. Thanks Rude Lady

Please stock real aquarium medicine like kanaplex. Other medications like melafix is close to pointless

They had what I needed. Employees were responsive, friendly, and helpful. They don't have the selection that PetSmart has in the area, but the shopping experience is much better.

I’m still in shock at the treatment I received at this location. I’m not sure if the groomer was having a bad day, generally an unkind person, or racist. Upon checking in, the groomer was very rude, cold, and unwelcoming. I was told I would receive a call when it was time to pick up my pup and that it would take 2-3 hours. I never received a call. When I came to pick my dog up 3 hours later, the groomer was extremely rude and accused me of lying about not receiving a call. I will never return to this location and would not trust my dog in her care. This happened 2 months ago and my plans were to never go to this location again, but I discovered she also put an unwarranted restriction on my account to prevent me from booking with Petco again. Needless to say I will keep my loyalties with Pet Smart from now on. I also see now that at least one other black woman had a similar experience so I assume this is a pattern of behavior. I hope management deals with this accordingly before it results in a lawsuit.
