  This is my go-to pet store because it's in my neighborhood, but sometimes you wait at the register for an associate a bit longer than needed. I wish the staff were a bit more attentive in that area; otherwise, they're usually helpful and polite.

  I had a disappointing experience at this Petco location. When I wanted to purchase fish, I was told to come back another week. When looking at birds, I felt pressured to buy additional products and accessories, which made the overall cost much higher than expected. For a small bird, the total recommended items added up to a very expensive purchase. In my experience, this store is better for pet food and supplies than for buying pets. If you're looking for birds or other pets, I would recommend comparing prices and requirements with other local pet stores before making a decision. This is just my personal experience, but I was not satisfied with the customer service and purchasing process. I hope the store improves its approach to helping customers in the future.

  I stood at the empty counter today waiting for an employee to ring me up. They were helping another customer and proceeded to walk with them to check-out at another register. I turned around and saw that others had already gathered in line behind that customer. How do you not see a customer standing there and proceed to take an entire line that came after me instead? None of these employees ever ask if you need help or anything.
