  Lots of staff turnover here. Bad communication. Nobody ever answers the phone or returns my calls, which is why I’ve never been able to actually book boarding. There is one guy who works mornings who is incredibly rude and short. I don’t know why he is even in customer service. The place could use a deep cleaning; I’ve been to plenty of dog daycares, but this one takes the cake for how awful it smells. They have no method to track dog vaccinations. I was asked to show papers my first time there, but I’ve never been asked to show my dog has had his annual vaccinations. This is concerning given the recent rabies outbreak in the area. I also learned from an ex employee that they sometimes board rescues, but this is not a rescue shelter. Based on all of these experiences, I will no longer take my dog here. Edit: It’s amazing that you don’t respond to voicemails or emails, but you waste no time when there is a rating involved. Expressing my confusion and dissatisfaction is not the same as being verbally abusive. There was no name calling, no threats, nothing of the sort. Don’t pretend like there was. Bringing up the “expired” package and telling me that I was emailed and called about it was a complete lie. I would love to stop by to see the alleged email you sent and imaginary voicemail you left. I will stop by with my credit card statement from March 2025 to show you the package I purchased, which means it is impossible for it to be a year beyond the expiration date. Questioning what time of day I call is also insulting. Of course I call when you are open. Why would I call when you are closed? Where is the common sense in that? At the end of the day I am happy to pay (and always do) what is owed. It’s the abysmal customer service and insulting interaction with your staff when I questioned the expired package which was the last straw for me.

  My dog loves this place! Staff are super friendly and take care of your dog with a smile. Would highly recommend.

  Best dog care anywhere. Tucker is No. 3 at DLOD and they all have been treated like kings.
