  If you need help they will help you. I had issues walking cuz of a back injury and they got everything I needed without me having to walk the store. Very helpful and caring staff

  Today we came to get a parakeet since we promised our daughter. She was waiting for this day. And I was just shocked that after spending so much time there and after my child already chose a parakeet, manager of this store ( I guess he was) just refused to sell us parakeet because he thought that the cage we brought to the store is not big enough. I prepared for this and got a cage with toys, mirrors, stuff for water and food. Cage was not small. It’s normal size for parakeet. And I told him ok, I will order the bigger cage today and it will arrive tomorrow. I can send you confirmation and picture! But he still refused, saying it’s a store policy! We were treated there like we are criminals or something. We are normal family and love pets. We have turtle that lives with us for years. Thank you to the Pet Smart store that we drove right after, and their employees, they were all so nice, they saw our cage and sold us parakeet without any problems! We bought tons of toys, food etc at pet smart and petco just lost their sale, because guy who works there need to work on his performance and know how to treat people. I will never again go to that petco store again.

  This is not the first time I have purchased something, opened it at home only to discover all the contents are not in the box. Your loss prevention system is not good. I've also seen items switched on hangers that are the wrong sizes/prices.
