  Absolutely love this place! Took a neglected gecko here and they did such an amazing job! They explained everything clearly and helped me feel more confident with giving it medication!

  Dr. Durante and his staff is absolutely amazing. Last week, my Macaw had some sort of episode. It seemed like he was having a seizure, and it was one of them most scariest couple hours of my life. I was hysterical when II contacted his office and They told me to get him there as fast as I could. When I arrived, They immediately brought him into an exam room and was in just a couple minutes Dr Durante Came in the exam room He explained everything Show me so I understood 100%.. And I could just tell he is highly an expert was exotic birds. He and his assistant, who was also incredible By keeping my bird as calm as mush as possible. They work as an excellent team. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the names of the four girls that were there, but each and every one of them were exceptionally professional In friendly like I’ve known him for years. When I first walked in, they Not only took care of Spanky, but they took care of me because I was hysterical. The next day, one of the girls in the office called me to check on Spanky and also called Saturday morning.will never ever take my bird anywhere else. I forgot to mention that What I was charged was unbelievably reasonable considering How much they did with Spanky, including bloodwork. I could not be more thankful for Dr Durante and the girls in the office. Before this even happened, I was asking around because I needed to get his wings and nails clipped. I understand now why every single person I asked recommended this is where they take there Exotic birds. I highly recommend this clinic. I couldn’t think them more. By the way, Spanky is feeling much better Thank you very much

  I have a ferret named Chubs and he needed his rabies shot updated. It was easy to make an appointment, they were able to see me within a couple of days which was fine. The doctor and the staff were all very nice. They definitely know how to handle ferrets. Since ferrets are considered exotic animals I was expecting a pretty high vet bill but was surprised that it wasn’t as high as I thought it was going to be. I was able to set up his appointment for his distemper shot before I left and was able to get an appointment on the day that I wanted.

  Website says they open at 7:30. Door sign says they open at 9:00am. After 9 and still not open. Why would I trust a vet that I’m supposed to trust to be responsible for my pet when they can’t even be responsible enough to communicate responsibility there hours of operation? Waited outside with an injured pet for 45 mins in the car for no one to show up. Can you sue for animal malpractice?

  I have had wonderful experiences taking my cats to Algonquin Animal Clinic. Dr. Durante and all of his Veterinary Techs are great. I would trust this Clinic with any medical issues with my animals.
