  I went in today and there is no one working in fish no one who cares to accept unwanted fish they didn't even care if they died I am ashamed they have uneducated people now who are disrespectful bring back people for these companies that people put there pets life's in there hands these kids working in places like these is not really good for business at any point people need to have some type of experience to be working in pet stores not uneducated people who don't even no about fish

  No Customer Service - Today I purchased a Woof Pupsicle toy and a package of Pupsickle Calming Treats. I paid with my credit card and didn't take my receipt when the cashier asked if I wanted it, my bad. After getting home and reading reviews about the Calming Treats, I decided I would rather exchange the unopened package for the regular treats. Since we are watching our son's dog for a couple of weeks, I didn't want to take any chances. I returned to the store about a couple hours later. The first employee tried but said a manager would need to assist because I didn't have the receipt. After waiting a while, he ask another employee to help me but she said that there was nothing they could do because of a no-return/no-exchange policy without a receipt and phone number, which is a marketing ploy. I offered to show her the charge on my credit card app proving the purchase had been made at that store less than a few hours earlier, but no exception could be made. What disappointed me was the lack of customer service. I wasn't asking for a refund—only an exchange for another product. No one mentioned at checkout that declining a receipt would eliminate any possibility of an exchange. It's also disappointing because we try to support local stores. In today's world, I could have ordered the same product from Amazon and had it tomorrow. I shop locally because I value service and support local businesses, but this experience made that decision harder. We will not be returning to Petco because of this policy and experiance.

  I have had good service. I use the self dog wash service as well asbuying supplies.
