- NTNathan TeSelleOct 1, 20261.0Paula Schmidt has no idea what she's talking about. She was with my cat for a total of about 5 minutes over 2 visits that I paid $150 for. When I asked what could have caused the issue my cat was having she said "I don't know". It's obvious that her primary goal is to get you to come back and pay the $70 visit fee so she can sit back and do nothing while bringing in a check. Don't come here, and definitely don't leave your animal with Paula Schmidt.

Twice our doxy dogs have received vaccines that are supposed to help their wellness. Rather, they almost killed them. Then, when we need help (near septic) with her foot, they can't fit us in for days. We are done with this so called preventative care.

- STSarah TidwellSep 10, 20254.0Banfield's service is not bad, and the staff and veterinarians are friendly but the Boise location is very understaffed. They are closed Fri - Mon sporadically. My senior dog had an emergency and I had to take him elsewhere to be seen because Banfield was closed. I pay for a monthly wellness plan so I wasn't thrilled to pay more at a different vet just so he could be seen. They also promise calls that never come. They need to hire more staff and at least one more doctor.
- MFMadisyn FrazierJul 28, 20235.0Wonderful vet clinic! Staff is friendly and accommodating! Dr Pence and Dr Soderquist listen to you and truly care for our pets. They have taken care of our puppies all the way until they were seniors. Great value. They whole practice does a great job at providing evidence based preventive care at a fair price and providing great urgent care for acute problems. I have been a costumer for over 12 years and just signed up our new puppy.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.

• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
