  We got a White's tree frog from here on 6/28/26. Such a cute and sweet baby. Store was very clean and well maintained. Staff was helpful.

  I stopped in to get cat food. As I was carrying the bag and walking to check out I slipped on something and almost fell. It ended up being a big pile of dog poop that I stepped in. Not very happy about that as I had to walk through the store sliding around in my sandals as they were full of poop. It was a very embarrassing experience.

  I went in to see if I was ready for a new pet. I walk in to see a cat curled up inside it's own litter box. There were dead fish carcasses inside some of the fish tanks. I could smell that the hamsters bedding needed to be changed. The sadest part was these two parrots that were secluded from the rest of the animals. The more expensive one was at the bottom of the enclosure laying there. He didn't look well. There was also to many parakeets in an enclosure with not enough room for them to stand on the stick. Some of them were at the bottom with nothing to do. For it being a pet store their enclosures are pretty bare and not cared for very well. I left there feeling sad for the animals 😢

  This needs to be reported because the Betta fish are all in super bad condition. Ether dead, dying, sick, of not moving there water is also always nasty the Sioux City petco sucks this is un except able

  They ending up rejecting my dog due to his health condition when he does perfectly fine with others. If they rejected him they are not professional nor trained to even deal with pets no one should fear of an animals death for something simple especially when he’s getting treatment for it.
