  I Appreciate the staff at our Kahului Maui Petco Grooming. They are very friendly and easy going with all my needs for my pet. Thanks everyone for your kindness and hard work! : )

  The local store is always understaffed, not only that but Petco no longer price matches their app prices.

  I stopped into the store early in the day while I was running errands before work. I decided to purchase two cat pheromone diffusers and found them on the petco app for almost 50% less. At the register I asked team member Amber to price match for me. She made an annoyed noise and rolled her eyes and said ‘we don’t do that’ I mentioned that a team member had price matched for me over the weekend and she responded in a rude tone of voice saying that it was an email that had just gone out with the new policy and then she stared at me. I asked if I could order online through the app for pick up and receive the item at the lower price and she said ‘yeah, but it will take a few minutes for the order to go through’ I said ok and that I would do that. I stepped aside and placed my online order and waited quietly by the dog treats. After about five minutes I walked over to the humane society kittens nearby and chatted with the woman taking care of the cats. I returned to the treats bear the register and continued to wait. After about five more minutes when there were several people in line. Amber called out to me asking if I had placed my order online. I said yes and that I was certain it had gone through. He sighed really loud while everyone in line stared at me and then she yelled out that it would be hours until my order was filled and I should just leave. I understand that petco price match policy may have changed and there could have been a few misunderstandings, but Amber’s treatment of me and customer service was rude and embarrassing
