  If you care about your dog, I strongly recommend thinking twice before bringing them here. I came in for a walk-in nail trim and immediately got a bad feeling from the atmosphere. I stood in the waiting area for several minutes before anyone acknowledged me. When I was finally asked why I was there, I inquired about availability for a walk-in nail trim. One employee told her coworker they were fully booked but asked if she wanted to take it. The coworker agreed, but neither of them communicated anything to me directly. When they began checking me in, the employee immediately asked for my phone number without explaining that I needed an account or asking whether I already had one. Once she realized I wasn’t in their system, she muttered “omfg” under her breath, which I found extremely unprofessional. After answering questions about my dog, the employee suddenly got up without explaining what she was doing. She grabbed my dog’s leash close to her neck and began handling her in a way that felt unnecessarily rough. By that point, both my dog and I were uncomfortable with the tone and behavior we had experienced. My dog, a Chihuahua mix, was visibly nervous and trying to hide under the bench. Instead of taking a moment to help her feel safe, the employee pulled her out by the leash and positioned herself behind her to examine her nails. After watching this interaction for less than a minute, I decided to leave. I understand that veterinary and grooming staff can be busy, stressed, and overworked. However, there is no excuse for handling an animal in a way that appears impatient, aggressive, or intimidating. If someone lacks the patience required to work with animals, they should not be in a position caring for them. What concerns me most is that this behavior occurred right in front of me. If this is how pets are treated while their owners are watching, it raises serious concerns about how they may be treated behind closed doors. I am sharing this experience to warn other pet owners. No animal deserves to be handled in a way that causes fear and distress, and no pet owner should leave feeling the way I did.
