  I had a disappointing experience at Petco. The cashier was standoffish and came across as rude. When I asked about a discount for dog bones, I was told I needed to sign up for a new account because none existed under my number—even though I believed I already had one. When I asked for help, I was simply told I never had an account, with no effort to look into it further. I was also with my brother, who has schizophrenia, and the situation added to his confusion. Overall, I felt dismissed and somewhat profiled. A little patience or assistance would have made a big difference. I hope for a better experience next time.

  I received an email that stated that I would receive a 10% discount if I buy online. I attempted to do so and pick up at the store but "the discount wasn't available at my store". Disappointed.

  This PETCO is amazing! The staff are super friendly, and the supervisor on duty loved that my daughter was receiving a 4.0 GPA and gave us a discount at checkout. Each staff member is very knowledgeable about the pets available for adoption. Love visiting our Hilo PETCO!

  I have never had such rude, dismissive customer service, as I did at your Hilo Petco location. I will be buying my pet supplies for my 2 puppies on Amazon from now on. This is the 2nd time I have felt disrespected and humiliated by the staff at this location.
