  Wonderful friendly staff, very welcoming, and greeting me always, making me feel like a loyal customer!! Some see me outside of work and are still friendly, makes me feel remembered, so nice!! ☺️

  Maybe 2.5 stars......Petco will only hold your order for 2 days then back on the shelf and you have to go back online and reorder.. I phoned and explained we were in the middle of a hurricane and I don't know why they could not hold it for a few more days. Petco has changed their on-line price matching and point policy which is disappointing.

  First I want to say that this review is not towards the cashier that helped me, only towards PetCo. My Kitten is now officially a cat and I went in to get food for her. I tried to order it for delivery but they don't like my address, and also to do a subscription. The last time I was in I was able to show the PetCo price to get the price match. But was informed that that is no longer happening. It was not that long ago.I was getting the 10 pound bag of Orijen which is $76. I am on a limited budget and shop carefully, making my dollar go as far as I can. I also don't get into Hilo all that often so when I go in it's for lots of errands. Rather than getting out of there spending $52, it was almost $78 with tax. PetCo used to have such great customer service but it's really changed. And I am disappointed

  I don't like the fact that we are given only 3 instead of 5 days to pick up our order. I live one hour away from the store. When something happened and I had to postpone my trip to the store for a couple of days, my order was canceled and I had to spend another half hour wasted time putting in a new order. Not everyone lives ten minutes from the store. Shipping is not possible for me. Though shipping is free for orders above $35, I discovered there's a high surcharge which is not that different from shipping fees. I refuse to pay this surcharge so shipping is out.

  Went to the store to find a leather leash. Didn’t find what we wanted, but was able to get a nice collar. The store personnel recognized and remembered our dogs by name from the time we did the Father’s Day photo shoot! The person who had taken our pups’ photos wanted to make sure to say “Hi” and pet our lovely pups! It is nice to be so welcomed into the store!
