I do a curbside pickup here every 4 weeks and the process should be quick and easy but it never is. Everytime I come I wait more than 20 minutes. I follow the instructions on the site to let them know I'm on my way and then again by checking in but I still either need to call or send my son in to get someone to bring out my order. There is no convenience in being inconvenienced. Just don't offer curbside if no one is available when a customer comes for pickup.

No respect for customers’ time.
I scheduled a grooming appointment for 9:30 AM and even called ahead when I realized I would be running a few minutes late. I specifically asked if that would be an issue or if I should reschedule. I was told it was completely fine.
I arrived approximately 10 minutes late, checked in, and then waited another 15 minutes. During that time, I rang the grooming doorbell and was told someone would be right with me. Several minutes later, an employee came out and, in an extremely rude and dismissive manner, informed me that because I was “30 minutes late” they would not be seeing my pet.
What makes this experience so frustrating is that I made every effort to communicate. I called ahead, received approval to come in, and then still ended up being turned away after waiting. If the appointment could not be honored, that should have been communicated when I called or at the very least when I arrived, not after I had already spent additional time waiting.
This felt like a complete breakdown in communication and customer service. Whether the issue was understaffing, poor scheduling, or employees not communicating with one another, the customer ultimately paid the price. Mistakes happen, but the dismissive attitude and lack of accountability were what made this experience so disappointing.
I rearranged my schedule for this appointment and left feeling like my time simply did not matter.

Shane at Petco Ewa Beach Hawaii was so helpful. He fed the fish before I brought it to make sure they were eating. Shane, explain to me what would be a good match for the fish to stay together and the behavior of the fish and the aggression of the fish being together. shane, was very helpful and Petco is lucky to have Shane as employee. Because of Shane, I will NOT shop at your competitor PetSmart anymore. Great job Shane. Mahalo, yours MD customer for life.
