Parking is awful. Showed up at 8 pm and there was no vet on staff. They told me no one could see my baby until 10. He was extremely dehydrated and dying. Found a great emergency vet in Fayetteville that I then drove to to have my baby seen. If you offer 24 hour care should have a vet on staff all the time. If going here I recommend calling ahead of time to verify someone will see your fur baby.

This place is a joke.. We called to have our dog seen due to being hit by a car. When we arrived Emma the lady who worked the front desk was insanely inconsiderate and showed not a single ounce of empathy. She was very rude and looked us straight in the face and said “I don’t know what to tell you take him somewhere else.” At this point we have driven an hour to get here. An hour of our dog suffering in pain for Emma to give no explanation just turn us away.

I will be talking to the owner. My dog, I believe was hit by a car. After walking in the back door and collapsing with his eye hanging out I called Union City clinic. They told me to come up there. We drove 1 hour and when we arrived the lady came to the door and said, their Dr. was busy and we needed to take my dog somewhere else. She had no compassion or empathy!! She literally shut the door in our face!! The date was 5‐9-2026 around 11:30 ‐ Midnight. I will be finding out the lady's name and make sure the owner knows this type of attitude will hurt their business! Absolutely bullshit!!

This vet clinic did something to my dog. The staff repeatedly behaved in a very deceitful way and there were multiple strange things that happened when I took my two dogs here, after they were bitten by a copperhead snake last year.
This vet either failed to provide the care they were supposed to provide, or they did something that caused my dog harm.
Two of my dogs were bitten by the same snake. I got them to the vet within ONE hour of being bitten. Both dogs legs were swollen.
The vet was supposed to administer antivenom and monitor them for 2 days. I immediately paid thousands of dollars to get them treatment and cover the cost of the 2 days of hospitalization.
I visited my dogs each day. I took them for walks while I was there. I don't think either of them had been taken out to use the bathroom in quite a while, considering how long they both peed for as soon as they got outside (a LOT more than they usually go)
One of my dogs was so overmedicated, she was trembling non stop and seemed to be entirely unaware of her surroundings, which the vet tried to tell me was because she was sick. She had turned purple, not only on her leg... but also her entire abdomen was purple... When I took her to another vet later, I was told this was VERY unusual for a snake bite on the paw if it had been treated within just a few hours of her being bitten.
Not only was her abdomen purple, but the vet actually commented on it, saying she had given her some kind of laser therapy as well. This was something I had never been told about or consented to, it was never put on her chart, and it wasn't on my charges. It seems VERY strange that a vet would give random treatments I am totally unaware of, only give these treatments to one of my dogs and not the other, and never chart it. Sorry, but you would think a vet that itemizes every single pill dispensed would make some kind of mention of this treatment, or try to charge me for it, rather than just randomly giving it and not telling me after the fact.
On the day I was to pick my dogs up, I arrived and was told my one dog could go home, but they were going to give a complimentary extra day of hospital stay for my other dog. Seems nice, right? But once again, vets rarely give away complimentary services, and I know this one definitely didn't seem so charitable when they first insisted on thousands of dollars up front before even being willing to give them antivenom to stop the reaction as quickly as possible.
They said their only reasoning was that my dog wasn't eating much. I told them (as I had already mentioned to them before) my dog is very stressed out by vet/kennel environments with lots of strange dogs barking and that she doesn't eat when she's stressed. I said she would recover better at home and the staff became noticeably irritable with me, even making a comment to another woman who was in the reception area, about how they were trying to be nice to me.
Before allowing me to take my dog home (this was the day she was meant to go home) they literally took another blood draw from her, only moments before giving her back to me. I never got any update or results on this blood draw or what it was even for.
Months later, I requested records from this visit to give to a pet insurance company. The first time I called and was told they would get them right to me. Days later and I hadn't received anything and I called back, the staff who answered the phone sounded polite and helpful, but as they looked up my info and if the records had been sent, it was obvious that something looked weird to them and they suddenly put me on hold for quite a while.
I was later told that the vet who took care of my dogs had not written any SOAP notes on her chart. This is an improper record keeping offense that I found out can be reported to the veterinary medical board.
Obviously I can't have any hard evidence since I wasn't there, but all together, it seems very clear my dogs were mistreated and this vet did not provide proper care.

Absolutely disgusting experience. I brought my sick cat in terrified and desperate for help, spent $500 on diagnostics just to be told he had a fever and “some kind of infection,” with no actual answers, no compassion, and no concern for the emotional or financial stress I was under. Then they immediately tried to push another $700 hospitalization bill with zero effort to discuss realistic options.
What made this even worse was the front desk staff. Cold, rude, dismissive, and completely lacking empathy. People bring their pets in scared and heartbroken, and instead of being treated like human beings, it felt like all they cared about was squeezing every dollar possible out of the situation.
I understand veterinary care is expensive. What I do NOT understand is treating worried pet owners like inconveniences because they can’t afford thousands of dollars on the spot.
I left feeling defeated, judged, and with more questions than answers. I would never recommend this place to anyone who expects compassion or professionalism during an emergency.
