  Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our sweet Buddy boy. The staff have always loved on him and given him the best care (even when he got old and snippy about shots). They were so compassionate and helped us say goodbye in a peaceful setting. Cannot show my appreciation enough!

  I took my child, my Shiba, to the hospital hoping to extend his life. He was telling me to let him go, but I was trying to be selfish and have him with me for as long as possible. The staff at the pet hospital allowed me to have every test and procedure performed, but confirmed my suspicions. They allowed me to say goodbye to my first-born by prescribing him palliative care (that I knew he wouldn’t accept), and then counsel me on the next steps. As a human provider, I knew I was being unreasonable, but the staff allowed me to mourn before the ultimate decision was made. I received counseling from Dr. Hill during the process of letting my child go, and I held him past his final breath. This pet hospital went above and beyond for my family, and I am forever grateful! The compassion while seeing a grown man cry is nothing short of amazing! I never felt pressured to do anything and I wish the pregnant vet nurse the best with her bundle of joy (forgive me, I’m terrible with names). I honestly could not do be in their profession, as pets are truly supernatural, though I perform a similar role in the human realm. Thank you all, and to anyone reading this: This is where you want your pet (child) to be taken care of. Edit: My family received a sympathy card in the mail. Everyone responded with handwritten names and messages, which is a class act! Thank you, Hudson Bridge Animal Clinic for helping us heal from our loss!

  I used the boarding services at Hudson Bridge Animal Clinic and had a mixed experience. While the facility itself seemed clean and medically sound, the overall experience was frustrating. The pricing was not clearly communicated, and I was charged more than expected at pickup. Communication between staff seemed inconsistent, and interactions at the front desk felt unprofessional at times as I have overheard them, talk poorly about clients. The environment also felt very busy and somewhat rushed by the supervisor, which made me question how much individual attention pets are receiving during boarding. This may be a good option for basic, medically supervised boarding, but I think there’s a lot of room for improvement in communication and customer experience.

  I can't say enough good things about my experience at this animal hospital! I have been their customer for almost 20 years and have brought ALL my pets here. I would sometimes visit other vets in the area (due to my demanding schedule) but would always be impressed by how other offices are not ran like this one. Dr. Aycock is popular, but there is a reason: he always takes the time to explain every possible diagnosis and treatment plan, which gave me such peace of mind. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, creating a comforting environment for both pets and their owners. My only minor complaint would be that the parking lot can get a bit crowded during peak hours, but it’s a small price to pay for the level of care we receive. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for compassionate and professional care for their pets. Thank you, Dr. Aycock, Kerri and the rest of the staff for everything!

  jerks - called to get my 98 year old mom's cat/best friend and full-time "nurse", the one that never leaves her side, in asap and the soonest was the next day. No big deal. At least not until little miss bossy receptionist knew better. I tried to book and the receptionist decided she knew better than me and was trying to tell me "Let's hold off because there's a $50 cancellation policy" telling me I might should take her to an emergency clinic. I was trying to book for a second to call around to 1st make sure I could find another good vet today that COULD take her but hold the spot for tomorrow for a few minutes while I called and she wouldn't have and threatened the $50 cancellation fee to get rid of me. WTH. So tired of people in these positions in companies that want to alpha customers and tell them what to do as if it's her decision whether I can make an appt. or not. I booked with Stockbridge Animal 5 minutes later for today/same day.
