  Love going to this petco. Everyone is nice and had to take my old dog to the vet. They vet was great and good priced compared to most vets

  I booked a grooming appointment for my Siberian Husky on the Petco website it said it would be $93.00 and I had a 30% off coupon for her first bath. They charged me $108.00 and took the 30% off coupon off of her bath a discount of $18.90. Which brung my total to $90.63. I thought I would be getting 30% off the total bill otherwise I would’ve never booked the appointment. It was not worth it. The groomer said it would be 2-3 hours which is normal. I never received a call or text after 3 hours so I went to Petco and there was only one groomer there grooming a dog with headphones on she didn’t even notice me for about 15 minutes. She looked on the computer and said my dog was ready that her groomer was at lunch. The other groomer went to get my dog and she had to dry my dog because she was still wet. Then my dogs groomer came back from lunch and said she was going to call me and tell me it would be another 30-60 minutes because she still had to dry my dog. So I left and went across the street to Aldi’s to wastes some time. Her groomer called and said she was done. I picked her up. Upon putting my dog in my car I noticed my dog was still wet. I got home and looked at my dogs paws I’m very upset some of her nails were grinned down very close to the quicks. The groomer didn’t shave her paw pads either. That is supposed to be included in a grooming. I’m very dissatisfied with the grooming service my dog received. I wouldn’t recommend Petco in Statesboro, GA. And I will never take my dog there again. The customer service I received and the so called grooming my dog received is outrageous. I give Petco grooming service and their customer service1 STAR!

  Conditions walking into the store were horrible! The fish tanks were filthy, piles of ferret feces were just pushed to the corner of their enclosure, and the birds and mice were cramped in to hell. Mike and Dorothy, take better care of your store! It's truly depressing to see when you walk in. All of the animals were overcrowded and you could see their distress. Your employees also appeared unhappy to be there!

  I drove 45min to the Statesboro location to get a specific fish. I waited approximately 15min for an associate, showed her which fish, a picture and verified she knew which one. She was also helping another customer with 20 gold fish but assured me she would get mine and if I wanted to walk around I could come back in a few min and I would be ready. After another 15min, she gave me a completely different fish. After waiting so long I decided I wasn't waiting 30 more min for the actual one I came for. My first impression of the closest pet store to me wasn't one that makes me want to go back. 🤷🏼‍♀️
