Please do NOT come here. They might seem nice and friendly but they do not care about your animals or about you, only about your money!! I signed up because their puppy plan seemed ideal it was $80 a month and she got all her vaccines and her spay . I went to use the free dental cleaning she gets with her planned scheduled the appointment and said in the notes dental cleaning ! When I got there they said they have to be notified in advance for dental cleanings because they require anesthesia, I booked the appointment online a week in advance . You’re telling me I came specifically for something that you guys confirmed and then I was told I can’t do it because I didn’t tell you in advance, but I did?? This place needs to change its name to Scamfield! DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!!!

I've been using this Banfield since Feb 2025 when I first adopted my pup because a friend of mine went here and they're super close to my place. After my experience today, I'm no longer going here and I now officially refer to them as Scamfield to everyone. I went in for a vaccine appt and when I was checking in, the lady at the front desk asked if I had any concerns about my pet. I told her that for the past couple of days, my dog's been shaking his head like his ear's been bothering him but I don't think it's anything serious because when I took a look myself I just cleaned out usual ear wax and there's no odor. She said ok but went ahead and switched my appt from just a vaccine to a medical exam and took me to the room. I didn't think anything of it and was appreciative at first because obviously I want a professional's opinion on my dog's health. After waiting a bit, the vet tech comes in and explains it's going to be $250+ for an ear exam, ear cleaning and a bunch of other crap I didn't want to do. I told her I don't want spend the money on that right now and to hold off on the exam/cleaning for now and I'll just continue to monitor/clean his ear myself. She told me no worries and left. Came back with ear swabs and said she just wants to take a look herself before the vet comes and not to worry that I won't be charged for anything. Only the vaccine. I allowed her to swab his ears and she said everything looks fine but will let the vet look. The vet comes in and checks his ear out, tells me to get an over the counter ear medicine and then gives my dog the vaccine. I was grateful for their attention and care in that moment but when I went to check out, she tells me my total is $115. I asked for what?!?!? because all I told them to do is the vaccine and was told I wasn't going to be charged for the ear cleaning/exam. I was then told that because they swabbed his ears and the vet took a look and gave me over the counter medicine recommendation that that constituted as an exam/evaluation and it's a $74.99 charge. On top of the $40 for the vaccine. I didn't push back or cause a scene, I just paid and left. But I will be disputing the charge with my bank and will 100% never step foot in this location or any other Scamfield ever again. It's the principle of being told I wasn't going to be charged for something that I told them not to do but they did anyways. They are purely for profit and have ways of tricking you into spending as much money as possible. Please listen to people when they say to not waste your time and money with this corporation or any others, because I didn't listen out of convenience of the location and now I'm out 75 extra bucks today.

I have never had an issue with the Vets but the front desk staff is terrible. They don’t answer the phones and don’t return messages. I wasted my time making an appointment through the app because I couldn’t reach anyone by phone only to be told that it’s not really an appointment for just getting anal expressions and they couldn’t do that for me today. Even though I had an appointment. A complete waste of my time and no one even apologized. Just booked me for tomorrow and didn’t say thank you. I have been a customer for 12 years. I would cancel my membership but I was told I would have to pay the remaining amount of my yearly membership. I get this a corporate veterinary clinic and I’m just a “member” but some common courtesy should be a standard practice.

I love the energy the Banfield pet Hospital gives . From the time we walk in to pick up. Our Pom is a very anxious and owner protective dog, but you wouldn’t know it after leaving him for his visits and pick up. He is showered with love and safety from the time he’s taken to the back to pick up. Team always has such amazing things to say about his visit. I’m always the one worried and wondering if he was good with the vets. At the beginning of the year My husband was in a car accident on the way to pick up Bear from Banfield; he didn’t make it. A staff member went out of her way to make sure Bear was taking care. While I was at the ER with my husband. Also the office was very sincere and wanted to make sure that my husband was OK not rushing us to make payment that night . Most places and people don’t care. I hate I do t remember the staff members name but we thank you so much. Thank you Banfield team for always taking such good care of our bear over the years.
