I don’t even know where to start with this place. We’ve had a pet plan for years and I’ve finally been pushed over the edge. The plan means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! They actually prioritize customers without plans so they can get MORE plans. You would think paying extra money that you would get special treatment (or just any treatment at all), but it’s actually the opposite. I’ve made several appointments at this place online and in person only for them to tell me that that don’t have me on the schedule once I actually get there, and then I’m there for 3 hours waiting because they had to “squeeze me in” because I didn’t have an appointment. Not only that, but I have taken my dog in 4+ times for the same issue that they chalk up to “allergies” on TWO different occasions. The first was our senior dog having a continuous cough which they couldn’t find the origin of, never checked his neck, and he ended up having cancer in his throat. The cough was unrelated, but we could have found the cancer way earlier if they would have bothered checking his neck. The second, which is still ongoing, is our dog having a fungal infection for 5+ months. It took them until the 4th visit to actually do a test for ringworm. Dr. Montgomery in particular doesn’t seem to care about animals or people or anything whatsoever. I think these people just want you to keep coming back to spend money on useless treatments while your dog slowly deteriorates. I’m beyond infuriated and will be canceling our plan and going to a local vet, not a conglomerate company that doesn’t care if my dog lives or dies. If you’re reading this and you care about your animal, the best thing you can do is go somewhere else.

Don’t bother calling. They don’t answer the phones.

Completely wasted 5 hours of what could be the last day of my dog’s life. I scheduled an appointment online for 12:30 then at noon they called to tell me that appointment wasn’t available and we would need to wait until 2:30. An hour long wait to be seen once we got there. The vet then told they could do an ultrasound to confirm, then decided they actually needed us to pay $800 for an x-ray and that the ultrasound wasn’t enough anymore. I called to get more info and after calling multiple times to try to get through, they put me on hold for 10 minutes after saying the vet would jump on “in a second”. I called back and was told he was “just about” to answer and then was on hold for another 5 minutes. Also wouldn’t give me his license number when I asked for it. Left not knowing anything more than we did when we got there and with 3 hours less to do anything for my dog. A disgusting bait and switch on vulnerable people who just want their pet to get a little bit of relief.
