I called Petco immediately when my vet found the maggots. Petco did not tell me to carry the maggot bag with me for a refund. Karyssa said I could not get a refund because the food was thrown away. I have been a customer for -10 years. Shame on Petco Sandy Springs.

Instead of helping me, the manager, Carissa, was very dismissive and directed me back to the cashier, who was already busy assisting customers. I didn’t want to interrupt or bother him while he was helping others. Meanwhile, Carissa was on the phone having a conversation. It would have taken no more than 30 seconds to answer my question. As a manager, leading by example means stepping in to help when your team is busy, not sending customers back to employees who are already occupied. Carissa, you can do better. A little professionalism and willingness to help can make a big difference in a customer’s experience
