- MEMackenzie EvansApr 30, 20265.0If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! I am beyond happy with our visit to Oakwood Animal Hospital. Our sweet 8-year-old had never been sick until this past December—that’s when everything started. We first went to Banfield Pet Hospital inside PetSmart and Petcare Animal Hospital off Hog Mountain Road during that time, and unfortunately, I was very unhappy with those experiences. After going through that, I decided to try Oakwood Animal Hospital instead—and I am so glad I did. From the moment we walked in, everything felt different. They took so much time, care, and attention to thoroughly examine our girl and walk through every possible cause of what could have made her sick or injured. I have been a nervous wreck through all of this, but they truly helped ease both mine and my husband’s minds. We are so grateful for their compassion and dedication. We won’t be going anywhere else—this is our vet for life! 🐾

- RTRobert TrueloveApr 4, 20265.0Dr Porter and the team at Oakwood Animal Hospital saved the life of my frenchie Gimli yesterday. He had gotten overheated from a short walk and couldn't breath. It was terrifying! I called ahead and the staff met me in the parking lot and rushed him in and worked on him for 2 hours bringing down his temp (it was 108!!!) and giving him oxygen. Again they saved his life! I simply cannot express how grateful I am. My little guy means the world to me. Dr Porter and the staff were also very kind to me in the midst of the crises. I'm so thankful they were there when we needed them.
