- KWKristal WynnOct 12, 20261.0Banfield- I am absolutely furious and disgusted by the treatment my pet received. What should have been a routine visit turned into an unacceptable and deeply upsetting experience. First, there was a delay, and **no one had the courtesy or professionalism to notify us.** When we were finally informed that Kipo was ready for pickup, we were instructed to arrive by 4:00 p.m. We complied, only to be kept waiting for more than 40 minutes just to receive our pet and complete the checkout process. But the most disturbing part was Kipo's condition when he was finally returned to us. **He was covered in feces, his eyes were bloodshot red, he appeared visibly traumatized. **What on earth happened to my pet while he was in your care?** How does an animal enter a facility staffed by licensed professionals and leave in this condition? What exactly are we paying for if the most basic standards of cleanliness, safety, compassion, and animal welfare cannot be maintained? I trusted your facility to care for Kipo, not to return him to me in a condition that raises serious concerns about how he was handled and treated. **This is absolutely unacceptable, and I am seriously considering legal action.** No animal deserves to be subjected to this kind of treatment, and no pet owner should have to experience the distress of seeing a beloved pet returned in such a state. I expect an explanation from management regarding what occurred during Kipo's stay, including why he was returned covered in feces and with bloodshot eyes. **Your facility has a responsibility to protect the animals entrusted to your care. Based on what I witnessed, I have serious questions about whether you fulfilled that responsibility. I will not simply overlook what happened to Kipo.**

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
