This vet practices charging you for services/tests before they even do them. Was told on a follow up call to bring my cat back for a urinalysis "because you already paid for it and we did not do it" and had to go back and get a refund on a separate occasion for a fecal sample they would never get because they said it could not be runny and the other vet told me that was bs. On all 4 visits they acted as if they did not care about my cat either, "he's just old". Was supposed to call the next Monday and check on the cat and discuss going from there, but never did. I ended up taking him to my home vet in Atlanta where I was told he was in bad shape and in pain and suffering and we put him down. He had a very aggressive form of feline GI lymphoma

We’re completely happy with the care our dogs received. Admittedly, there was a little “sticker shock”. It seems every facility is being bought up by corporate entities and driven by unabashed profiteering. Maybe 🤔 I’m too old school. I miss the days where I didn’t feel like I’m getting fleeced in every direction. Affordability isn’t a problem for us, but it is for many people. We will be back due to lack of options. These comments in no way reflect negatively on the staff.

I took my cat in because he was losing weight. We saw Dr. Washinton, eventually, she was at the least 30 minutes late for every single appointment. She did blood work and determined his liver enzymes were highly elevated and began the guessing game. She kept making recommendations and nothing was really making a difference. Finally she suggested a dental, stating that infection in the teeth can cause elevated liver enzymes...... I was confused. First off, if he had an infection in his teeth wouldn't he be showing signs, or at least have bad breath? Secondly, shouldn't was start him on an antibiotic if it is an infection regardless of doing a dental? Nope, Dr. Washinton wanted to do a dental 700+ dollars.... and it needed to be done immediately.... I was suspicious and took him to another vet for a second opinion, she checked my babies teeth and said they looked better than most of her regular patients teeth. She took one look at the blood work I brought with me from heart of ga. and pointed out several things that were off, not just the liver enzymes. We did an xray and my baby either has Lymphoma or FIP. We have the ultrasound scheduled to determine which one and will go from there. If I had listened to Dr. Washinton I would have put my baby through the trauma of a dental, when it was not necessary. Turns out a friend just told me that she had the same issue when she took her fur baby to heart of ga. Dr. Washinton did a whole lot of labs, came up with nothing and suggested a dental would fix the problem. She too went elsewhere. Moral of the story? Proceed with extreme caution or just save time and money and take your baby elsewhere.
