Went in today to ask for a copy of my cat’s food prescription to buy my cats food since they are located within Petsmart and the clerk with the blonde short wig named Jennifer refused to give me a copy of the prescription because it wasn’t my “home location “ and said that since they haven’t seen my cat in this location I went to they can’t give me a copy of the prescription. Which is ridiculous ! I have gone to any Petsmart with a banfield and they have given me a copy of the prescription to buy the food! Banfield uses the same system I don’t understand why she couldn’t give me the copy. I don’t even go to Banfield in general because I have a vet already who gave me the prescription but you need to give Banfield the script so they can give you the card to buy the food with Petsmart. I didn’t even bother to go back and fourth with her cause she made it clear I wasn’t going to get a copy. Just told me to tell the cashier that I didn’t have it and they will let me purchase the prescription without it for the one time? That also didn’t make sense cause then I can just always say I don’t have the prescription to other locations and get the food. Luckily I found a picture of the Banfield card I got with the prescription and just showed the cashier that. Ridiculous experience I should be allowed to get a copy of MY cats prescription at any location like I always do. Won’t ever be returning to this location it’s a money grab clearly. And based on other reviews Jennifer has a bad reputation of being rude! She had an attitude when speaking with me and clearly doesnt want to be working.

Dr.izen is the best doctor that is there and truly cares for each animal. The front desk person is rude and has a disgusting attitude. They should be fired to be honest. It’s not cool that they treat people like crap everytime they are there. The nurses in the back are all so sweet and treat my baby like their own. So the only thing I would Complain about is the front desk person

Amazing! Dr. Isren is a God send. He loves the animals, very hands on. He calls on his days off to check up on our dog and make sure he gets her well. The staff is very welcoming and caring.

First I want to say thank you to the nurse that met with us and walked us through the entire appointment. Unfortunately they are short staffed and apparently the appointment system was allowing appointments that should not have been made. What bothered me is that we made an appointment to see a new Vet. That vet never stopped in for even 2 min to see us. We met with the nurse the entire time. I would have appreciated at least being acknowledged just for a minute and allow us to ask any needed questions. We used to see an awesome vet in Roswell also through Banfield and they had the same issues. All the staff had left. Thought we would give Marietta another chance, but looks like Banfield is just not it anymore. Update after my original review: Unfortunately, things only became more concerning after this post. My pet was brought back for follow-up care after being instructed to return in two weeks. During this process, communication was extremely disorganized and inconsistent. We were given conflicting information regarding whether or not she still had an infection, and at one point were informed there had been a mix-up involving records/results. As a pet owner, hearing that there may have been confusion involving medical records and then being expected to simply trust verbal reassurance afterward is incredibly concerning. I repeatedly requested clarification and attempted to speak directly with the veterinarian, but communication remained extremely limited. The overall impression throughout this experience was that efficiency and getting through appointments mattered more than thorough patient care, communication, or owner reassurance. The most upsetting part is that this is not simply a customer service complaint. These are issues involving trust, medical communication, follow-up care, and confidence in the accuracy of information being provided regarding a pet’s health. I understand clinics are busy and short staffed, but owners should never leave feeling confused, dismissed, or uncertain whether they are receiving accurate information about their animal’s medical care. Very disappointing experience overall. Steer clear of Banfield. Find an independent veterinarian office.

Will never be going back to another Banfield location after the way my cat and I were treated. Whoever was working the front desk on 4/17/26 at 5:00pm should remember some compassion when a worried pet parent arrives with their (very) sick animal. Rolling your eyes, sighing, shaking your head in frustration at my worries, and then ultimately turning us away was unacceptable behavior. Had to go to two other vets after this because my fur baby was DYING. Thank you for showing me where NOT to go.
