How do you guys feel as a company for giving someone’s dog brain damage? Do not EVER bring your animals here. The staff are abusive towards the animals and the company lied on the accident report and is trying to cover it up. Screw petco and everyone that supports this location.

This place abuses animals and hides themselves after it comes to light BEWARE OF THE GROOMERS. One of my friends brought their dog in here to get groomed and when she came back her dog was LITERALLY HALF PARALYZED AND THEY ARE REFUSING TO GIVE HER CAMERA FOOTAGE OF WHAT THEY DID TO THE DOG.

ONE STAR — DO NOT TRUST THIS LOCATION WITH YOUR PET. After seeing what happened to a dog at the Stonecrest Petco grooming salon, I genuinely cannot understand how anyone could feel comfortable leaving their animal there. A dog went into this grooming salon and reportedly came out in a critical condition—unable to stand properly, unable to walk normally, struggling to hold his head up, and later found by a veterinarian to have neurological problems and fluid in his lungs. The circumstances surrounding what happened to him are deeply disturbing, and the fact that the owner reportedly had to fight for answers afterward makes this even worse. And this isn’t the first time people have raised serious concerns about this location. The Stonecrest grooming location has an extremely poor rating and numerous negative reviews describing problems with grooming, handling, communication, scheduling, and the treatment of pets. These are people’s FAMILY MEMBERS. You don’t get to shrug your shoulders when an animal leaves your care injured or seriously ill. You don’t get to hide behind corporate customer service while pet owners are left terrified, confused, and paying veterinary bills. If Petco is going to take responsibility for grooming people’s animals, then there needs to be REAL accountability when something goes horribly wrong. There needs to be transparency about what happens behind those grooming-room doors, proper emergency procedures, and immediate veterinary care when an animal shows signs of distress. I would strongly encourage every pet owner to research this location and its grooming history before trusting them with their animal. Your pet cannot tell you what happened to them once you leave. Absolutely unacceptable.

I love the store and location but I don’t trust those groomers. They’re mean to the dogs. I’m not going back there for my dog’s grooming. AND they charged me $20 extra for being late. That’s a steep late fee. Especially since it takes them hours to finish up with your dog and her cut is always awful. They don’t like their job and it shows.
