Second time taking one of my cats there for emergency services. From the moment you walk in and speak with reception to the point you see the Dr. you feel welcomed. Dr. Barnes is so nice and informative. This most recent time our technician May (hopfully i spelled it correctly) was so sweet also. Def would trust them with my babies!

Took my Pomeranian in because she ate 1/2 of a grape which is toxic. They went through the steps needed to make her throw it up and gave her the fluids and medicine she needed. They saved her life.

My husband took our dog for what seems to be an allergic reaction, they’re simply giving medicine after a visual check and holding for a few hours for observation—$500 and not even a blood test or diagnosis. Common sense tells me this place simply operates from the premise of “emergency” though it’s simply about doing the bare minimum for the most money.

So I read the reviews and there are a lot of 1* talking about lack of compassion. Our experience was completely different. Maybe different staff, maybe because it was normal operating hours, but... My son spotted an injured Eastern Bluebird in the road still flapping it's wings. He had me stop the car and he got the bird. No blood, but a contusion to the back of the head, possibly a cat attack (we have wild cats around these parts). Not that they were close by, but we sped there and pulled in, and the first response was "I'm sorry, we don't see wild animals, but here's a place you can call". They were very sympathetic. Here's the kicker. My son is leaking tears, the bird is breathing, he can still move his legs (so the neck isn't broken) but his eyes are closed and his head is down like he is resting or recovering. I call the number they provided, and it said to go to a website and fill out the form. As I'm filling it out, a tech comes from the back and says she can show the bird to the vet to see if it needs to be put down, which lets face it, was a decent possibility. We go sit down, and 5 minutes later she comes back out with the bird in a box with the most wonderful news - the contusion didn't break the skin, and his neck isn't broken because he actually FLEW in the exam room. The tech made suggestions as to whom to call for rehabilitation, but we decided if he can fly we will take him home and rehab him ourselves. The tech suggested putting it in a cardboard cat carrier so it has room to move about, so we asked if the had one. She went to check and didn't, but gave us a smaller lidded box (usually for remains, but bigger than the box he was in and had a real lod) that she had cut holes into for the bird to breathe. Very compassionate and giving. And when I asked how much we owed? $0. Yes, we owed nothing. They examined a wild bird and provided us with a box and a small blanket for its comfort for FREE! It's close enough that if I need emergency services after hours, this is the first place I'm going to try. Thanks for reading my review

heartbreaking this experience was. I brought my cat there in a true emergency around 6:30–7:00 AM, terrified and desperate for help, only to be met with what felt like immediate pressure to euthanize him. The veterinarian came into the room and handed me paperwork for euthanasia costing over $500, not including the nearly $300 required just to walk through the door. What made this even worse was being told that by 8:00 AM I had to either have my cat transferred somewhere else or put down because they were closing, and they made it very clear they meant exactly that. There was no compassion, no discussion of meaningful alternatives, no payment options, and no willingness to work with someone facing a medical emergency with their beloved pet. When I stepped outside in complete panic and emotional shock, the doors were locked and I was not even allowed back inside. My cat was only brought back out after payment, while I was told he would only survive a few more minutes without oxygen. Being forced to hear that while feeling helpless was devastating. The way this entire situation was handled left me physically ill, emotionally drained, and even more traumatized than I already was. In one of the worst moments of my life, I felt abandoned instead of helped. Anyone considering bringing their animal here in an emergency should understand that if you do not have immediate money in hand, compassion may not be part of the care you receive. Do not to here
