I brought my 4-year-old Cockapoo, Lucky, to Dog Mountain Pet Resort and Spa for his very first visit, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Leaving Lucky somewhere new can make me a bit anxious, but the team immediately put both of us at ease. The staff is genuinely warm, welcoming, and so attentive— right from the moment we walked in, you could tell they truly love animals.
Lucky got the full spa treatment, and he came out looking and smelling incredible! Cockapoo curls can be tricky to groom properly, but his coat was soft, perfectly trimmed, and completely mat-free without being chopped down too short. He looked like a brand-new pup and was strutting around super proud of himself.
What impressed me most was how happy and relaxed Lucky was when I picked him up. He can be a little hesitant in new environments, but he was calm, tail wagging, and clearly well-cared for the entire time. The facility itself is clean, bright, and very well-maintained.
If you’re looking for top-notch pet care, incredible grooming, and a staff that treats your dog like family, Dog Mountain is the place to go. We will definitely be regulars!

Leaving this review due to poor communication and a lack of professionalism.
We have a dog who is reactive to other dogs. This was never hidden or undisclosed information. Dog Mountain has been aware of his reactivity from the beginning, and he has even worked with one of their trainers multiple times. He has also been groomed there previously without any issues.
Today, our dog was unable to be groomed, and we were informed that they would no longer provide grooming services due to concerns for the safety of their staff and other dogs. I understand that businesses have to make decisions they believe are safest, and I respect that.
What I don’t understand is the complete lack of communication. You have a file containing our dog’s history and knew he was reactive. Instead of reaching out beforehand to discuss accommodations, scheduling him at a quieter time, or letting us know that your policies or comfort level had changed, he was placed in a room with multiple other dogs—a situation that predictably caused him significant stress. After he reacted as expected, he was denied future services.
My frustration isn’t that you chose not to groom him. It’s that no effort was made to communicate with us or work with us before putting him in a situation you already knew was likely to be overwhelming. A simple phone call before the appointment could have prevented the entire experience for both your staff and our dog.
Better communication and proactive planning would have gone a long way.

Not super thrilled about our experience here. Our dogs stayed for 5 nights over the 4th of July weekend. We had just upped one of our dogs food intake to help him gain weight and when we picked him up, he was even skinnier than when we dropped him off. Our other dog threw up twice the first day back, twice the day after, and then our other dog (the one who lost weight) began throwing up the day following. It has been a week since picking them up and they are just now back to normal. This place was overpriced and then added on the vet bills we had to pay to make sure both dogs were healthy after staying here, it was absolutely not worth the price, and we will not be bringing them back.

Dog Mountain Pet Resort and Spa is the best daycare we've found! The staff is incredibly caring, patient, and truly loves every dog. My pup gets so excited every time we arrive, which tells me how much he enjoys spending the day here. He comes home happy, tired, and well-socialized after playing with other dogs. The facility is always clean, safe, and well-managed. I have complete peace of mind knowing my dog is in such great hands. Highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a trustworthy place for their furry friend!
