  I do not recommend this vet clinic. The experience I had with my 3 fur babies have been very disappointing. This is my 1st year using their services and will be my last. On June 20th, I called to bring my senior pet in within their scheduled Saturday times and I was told that they could not see him. I explained the urgency and was turned away. I was told that an appt had to be made for Monday with a deposit. I ended up taking him to an emergency clinic, my non-primary vet, in which he passed away. The only time that Fayette Vet reached out was to confirm a dental appt for my other two babies in the end of August which was two days ago. . I talked to the Mgr Bianca and she noted that their system didnot reflect me calling on June 20th to request an appt for my elder pet who was in pain. This practice shows lack of empathy and poor communication among staff. I do not recommend sending your fur baby here.

  The vets and techs are very personable and gentle with my fur baby. They are very thorough and great at diagnosing right to first time. They are a bit pricy and upselling is guaranteed. But it’s worth it.

  We've been using Fayette Veterinary Medical Clinic for as long as we have had pets. We euthanized our last dog yesterday and for the first time in over 35 years, we do not have one in our home. It was a very stressful and emotional day. The doctor assigned to our appointment was not compassionate nor empathetic even though her bio states she "believes pets are like children and deserve the very best care they can get." Eli was extremely large and it took considerable effort to get him into our vehicle. He loved to ride and was content once we got him into the pickup. We requested that the procedure take place in our vehicle so that his last moments would be in a comfortable place. Moving him into the building would have caused unnecessary stress in his final moments. This was not an unreasonable request, it was for Eli, and your doctors had granted that request with our other English Mastiff due his size and condition. Our assigned doctor refused, stating it was a liability and even doubled down when she was asked by the technician assigned to us who explained the situation. Luckily, Dr. Holland, who was in surgery at the time, agreed to come out and give Eli a dignified passing, in the comfort of a familiar place. Your front office staff was very friendly and the technician assigned to us was so sweet, compassionate, and empathic of our loss. Please, if your doctor is going to preach about pets being family, ensure that she demonstrates that to the families and pets at the end of their journey together.

  Women at the front desk have horrible snarky attitudes! When you come in with a pet that is like your child the last thing you want to deal with is women being snarky and snarling.. today my baby was spayed and I AM NOT happy at all!! I haven’t seen an incision made that long for a spay in YEARS! I’m wondering now if one of my dogs kidneys are being sent to the black market!! I thought I found a real vet and now it just feels like another Jazzy Paws chop shop!!

  Our cat was having issues where she couldn't eat because of a bad painful abcess. They diagnosed her issue and told us she needed the tooth pulled. We asked them to schedule a surgery for her and they came back with no availability for THREE MONTHS! Our cat would have died in that time from pain and starvation! When we questioned why it couldn't be done for 3 months, they came up with another date that was 3 weeks away. Still not acceptable if you are trying to help the poor distressed animal. Then they tried to get us to purchase a $1000 "senior" pet plan that supposedly covered everything (blood work, shots, etc.) except the one thing we went there for, pulling the tooth, which would have been an additional $300+. The staff was nice but imagine being told they can't pull a tooth for 3 months or 3 weeks, when your pet can't eat because they are in so much pain. That's not helpful in any way to the animal or owner. We won't be back. 3 stars because the staff was nice. That's it!
