Kay Animal Hospital is a very professional establishment. The clientele there are very courteous and knowledgeable of my new born dog. They advised me of the do’s and dont’s. I got my dogs second round of shots and scheduled the 3rd round for 4 weeks out. The hours of the hospital are advantageous to my hectic work schedule. I was able to get in a Saturday morning appointment really quickly.

I thank God for this vet. This vet has been so good to my furry babies and me. I’ve been to several vets and nothing will ever compare to the incredible people here. I’m speechless of words to type and express the love I have for Kay animal hospital. Just know, I appreciate every single one of you. You have no idea how much you mean to our family. 🄹🩷

While I got unfavorable news about my dog, this was the first vet after seeing 2 prior to actually explain the issues in detail as well as show me the imaging to support the diagnosis. The staff was super friendly, specifically the vet assistant, whose name I dont recall. Ultimately my dog has prostate cancer and is unable to fully empty his bladder. The vet was able to show me before and after imaging of when they emptied his bladder. The first vet I seen at Douglasville Vet Hospital just told me what he seen and to basically put my dog down. While the end result is the same, the "bedside manner" at Kay's was much better. This is my baby and the way Douglasville Hospital handled me was very cold and transactional. I would recommend this Hospital over any of the ones I've been to in the area over the last 3 weeks which have been very difficult. Thank you to the staff here.

I took my 9 yr old & 65lb pound pit to a vet and 60 seconds into the visit I knew I had to take him somewhere, someone told me to try Kays so I went in and they were very compassionate and kind to my fur baby . He had lost use of his back two legs and bladder . I was so stressed cause the surgery was so expensive for his vertebra injury.. BUT they said I could try cold pak laser it is a red light type therapy so I went for it . After a couple of weeks he was trying to run while o was supporting his hind legs but not he is walking he isn't perfect yet but we are on the way to a full recovery. He has control of his bladder he walks runs as much as I will let him . The doctors and staff nurses all the way to the front desk service were amazing even when I was super stressed and snappy šŸ˜” They took care of us and we are so grateful to have our Artticus back ā¤ļøI have to give Artticus credit to because he is determined and does our at home physical therapy and our at come red light therapy pad ... THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING I'll be bringing him by so you guys can see with your own eyes

Thought I’d try this vet, but it’s a solid pass. I had a 3:30 pm appointment. I walked out after 2 hours of waiting without seeing the vet. Customers were complaining, and I eventually had enough. I understand things come up, but what I can’t understand is an office doing nothing to take control of the situation. It was a train wreck happening in slow motion, and no one did anything to keep people from continuing to board. For example, I received 2 ā€œfriendly reminderā€ text messages to ensure I’d show up for the appointment, but not once did I receive a call or text saying: 1. Only 1 doctor showed up today, or 2. We had an emergency come up, or 3. We’re running behind and would like to give you the opportunity to arrive at a later time or to reschedule for another day. People and pets were outside in the parking lot because there was no room left inside. There’s no office management here whatsoever. Message to owner: Take note and implement change, or one day you won’t have a business. FOLLOW UP: The owner response below confirms the lack of office initiative. Instead of proactively reaching out to customers, they are waiting for customers to contact them. They have our contact information (if they genuinely cared). When there is no ability to manage an office, what confidence is there to develop and manage a treatment plan. The old adage in the airline industry applies: ā€œIf the reading light doesn’t work, what’s wrong with the engines?ā€ In contrast, I subsequently made an appointment with Douglas Oaks Animal Hospital. When I arrived, I was taken to a room with my cat’s name on the door without even placing the pet carrier down. A technician arrived before I could open the carrier. The doctor immediately followed and was very professional. My cat received an exam and 3 shots, and we were in/out in 30 minutes. Douglas Oaks Animal Hospital is my new vet!
