Please do not take your fur babies to this clinic. I took my Bentley there in Feb.14 because his eyes looked like he was going blind and his hair wasn’t growing. They charges me $280 or $300 to tell me my dog my dogs eye was normal and he may have poked it gave me drops and said he had arthritis. My dog was fully blind in both eyes and he lost a lot of weight and passed away March 25.

EXTREMELY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least! This review is based off of the last experience I had when visiting this location 1 year ago. I am referring to the vet right beside Gables on Fairburn Road. After hearing a story about a botched surgery on a dog at this location I was skeptical to bring my dog back here or not. I ended up bringing my dog to this location to have a heart worm test and basic checkup bc i had used this vet in the past. During the checkup we spoke about vaccines. I stated that I was unsure if my dog had the vaccine that we were speaking of and called the last vet that I brought my dog to, to verify if it was up to date or not. It was determined that my dog needed the shot to get up to date and I asked what the cost would be. They told me a price and I responded yes, lets go ahead and get the shots as well. Upon finishing up I went to the counter to pay. The girl told me a final cost and it sounded lower than i expected so I asked “Does that price include the shots”. The girl responded yes. Once again I said “that cost is lower than what I was quoted, are you sure that includes the shots”. This time the girl made a face as if I know what Im doing and said yes again. I said “well I guess that is good news, that is lower than I expected”. I paid my bill and proceeded to leave. The next day at around 4 pm my wife called me from work and said “what is going on with this vet, they are blowing my phone up leaving rude voicemails and messages saying that we walked out on our bill etc.” I said “I paid my bill”. She was working and did not have a clue what was going on because she did not come with me to the vet the day before. I immediately drove straight to the vets office to bring this matter to their attention. I explained the entire situation to them & let them know that I asked the girl that took my payment 2 times if that included the shots attempting to be honest and bring this issue to their attention and explained the 2nd time i asked she assured me the cost wad correct and acted as if she knew what she was doing. I explained that at point I did everything that i could do to be transparent and paid the bill that ‘their employee’ told me to pay and left. They stated that she was new and didnt know any better. Well, Im the customer and i do not know who is new or not but I do know that after I question the cost twice and let the employee know that the amount that she stated was less than we were quoted then that is a good sign that if you are new then maybe you should ask someone about it. I let them know that considering all of the circumstances, their behavior in calling my wife insinuating that we pretty mych stole from them and walked out on our bill opposed to questioning their “new” employee was extremely rude and unprofessional. I proceeded to pay a SECOND TIME the remaining amount that they stated was owed and confirmed that we would never do business with them again. They were unaccountable for their poor behavior & unprofessional way that they chose to do business! We will never return to this location with any of our animals.

My dog went in due to having trouble peeing and pooping. His movements also had blood in them. It turns out that his prostate was enlarged and blocking his urethra and colon making it hard for him to use the bathroom. This clinic was able to prescribe medicine that seemed to help him use the bathroom consistently. Why I gave the low rating is that multiple tests and imaging were done and it was determined based on imaging that my dog has prostate cancer however i never got to see any images. My specific issue is with Dr. Luke Rogers. He was extremely insensitive to the situation and told me that he could refer to a specialist but they are just going to recommend euthanasia. While that may be the reality there was zero regard for my feelings and not an ounce of bedside manner. In addition they were having pizza, which we all eat lunch right, but trying to talk to me while you have a mouth full of pizza is ridiculous. They did what they could and what they were supposed to but I feel like I paid 600+ for nothing. He didn't even take the time to show me the imaging which they did at another hospital I ended up going to. My dog is 11 years old and I've had him since he was a puppy, the least he could have done was be sensitive to the situation. I had a much better experience at Kay Animal Hospital which is also full service. My money was better spent there. The vet assistant and office staff were great but I won't be returning based on the vet's inability to read the room.
