I am extremely disappointed with Banfield, and as of right now, this situation STILL has not been handled. I brought my dog in because she was having skin issues. After waiting well past my appointment time, I ended up spending around $220, including $40 for medicated shampoo that is NOT working. Yesterday my dog was miserable. She was itching uncontrollably, breaking out in hives, and her face was swelling. I called Banfield and explained exactly what was happening. I was told they would speak with the doctor about getting her medication so I wouldn’t have to come back in and pay for another entire visit. Nobody called me back yesterday. Nobody called me this morning. So I called THEM again this morning because MY DOG IS STILL SUFFERING. I was basically told the doctor was taking her time getting to it. Meanwhile, I’m supposed to do what? Sit here and watch my dog scratch herself raw and swell up while I patiently wait for somebody to decide this is important enough to address? And as I’m writing this, I STILL have not received a call back or a resolution. At this point, after paying $220, being given a treatment that isn’t helping, reporting that my dog’s condition was getting WORSE, being promised a callback that never happened, and then having to chase them down again myself, I absolutely believe whatever medication the veterinarian determines she needs should be provided at no additional charge to me. I’m not asking for something unreasonable. I’m asking for the dog I already paid you to treat to actually receive some relief—and for someone to care enough to follow through. This is unacceptable.

I was not happy with the care my dog received once it was determined that many health conditions and he was written off as dead months before he actually passed away. I feel my desperation to make my dog comfortable was used to manipulate me to spend a significant amount of money duplicating test that had already been performed. I am also not convinced that the duplicate test that i was charged for were actually performed.

I brought my Blue Chow Merlin in to get his shots and a check up. The veterinarian was so good with him. I told her that he was limping on one of his friends the legs and she took the spent time with him to walk him around to see which leg it was and gave me some medicine for arthritis and some joint supplement chews. They also drew his blood for bloodwork and gave him a complete physical. They were absolutely great with him 😊

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent experience with your Douglasville, Georgia location. This week alone, I had two appointments canceled, creating unnecessary disruption to my schedule. As a working professional who regularly works more than 50 hours per week, I plan my commitments carefully and cannot continuously rearrange my schedule due to avoidable operational issues. What concerns me even more was my interaction today at approximately 9:48 AM(6/25/2026). During the call, the conversation ended abruptly and I was disconnected while trying to address the situation. Whether intentional or accidental, the experience felt dismissive and unprofessional. I fully understand that unexpected circumstances can happen and that scheduling challenges sometimes occur outside of anyone’s control. However, repeated cancellations combined with poor communication and the way I was treated on the phone have made this experience unacceptable. I am not asking for a favor.I am asking for basic respect, professionalism, and consideration for customers’ time. This experience has honestly made me reconsider using Banfield in the future and has raised concerns about the overall level of organization and pet care being delivered. If communication and scheduling are handled this poorly, it naturally creates concern about the standard of care and attention my pets may receive.
