I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent experience with your Douglasville, Georgia location.
This week alone, I had two appointments canceled, creating unnecessary disruption to my schedule. As a working professional who regularly works more than 50 hours per week, I plan my commitments carefully and cannot continuously rearrange my schedule due to avoidable operational issues.
What concerns me even more was my interaction today at approximately 9:48 AM(6/25/2026). During the call, the conversation ended abruptly and I was disconnected while trying to address the situation. Whether intentional or accidental, the experience felt dismissive and unprofessional.
I fully understand that unexpected circumstances can happen and that scheduling challenges sometimes occur outside of anyone’s control. However, repeated cancellations combined with poor communication and the way I was treated on the phone have made this experience unacceptable.
I am not asking for a favor.I am asking for basic respect, professionalism, and consideration for customers’ time.
This experience has honestly made me reconsider using Banfield in the future and has raised concerns about the overall level of organization and pet care being delivered. If communication and scheduling are handled this poorly, it naturally creates concern about the standard of care and attention my pets may receive.

I initially set my appointment at 12:30 but they called and told me it was their lunch time so I rescheduled to 2pm in room visit. It was just for a follow up since he went to a veterinarian hospital to get his eye looked at. So got there and waiting and they said that they would take him in the back and will probably look at him at 3-4. I was kinda confused because I thought all that was gonna happen was a quick look at his eye to see if the medication was working but I let it be and went home to wait. It got to 4:30 and I was worried about my baby boy so I called and checked and they said that they are just now looking at him. I waited another hour and just decided to go get him. They didn’t do anything the entire time he was there and really wasted everyone’s time. I will not be coming back to the Banfield off camp creek or probably any Banfield after this. Oh and I never got a call either. They also didn’t even say anything, no apologies, no reason on what happened. Also when I went to pick him up it was around 6:30. PetSmart closes at 7 and the hospital supposed to close at 5.

For the most part, the staff is professionals and the facility is worth being a part of. However ;they are not always friendly. And I did not understand that they are like maintenance care. I didn’t know that if my dog needs surgery or a real hospital , they don’t handle that. I wish that was explained upon joining.

We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
