  They told me what all my $80 animal insurance plan included and LIED to me about it and stuck me on a different plan to get money out of me they said with the plan i got that his worms would be covered along with everything else i go to leave after paying for the visit and they tell me they need to take my dogs medication back or it would be an extra $50 even tho it came included with me $80 plan I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL THEY WILL LIE AND TRY TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF YOU AND NOT DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY WOULD I SUGGEST STAY FAR AWAY

  I had high hopes for this clinic, but if I could give them zero stars, I would. We visited this location four times in the past two weeks, and instead of stabilizing him, the staff repeatedly pushed for expensive testing that were negative. Each time a negative result would come back, they would recommend another expensive test. Despite my repeated requests for fluids, I was told they would check with the provider and call me back, yet they never followed through. Today after another request for fluids, they told us they didn't have their shipment of fluids until Tuesday. Instead, they would ask me to pick up my dog and prescribe medications he cannot take (pills), ignoring the fact that he is not eating/refusing food. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. We have spent over $1000 here. Very disappointing. UPDATE: We took him to urgent care and he's now being rushed to an actual animal hospital!! This place delayed care!!

  I am extremely disappointed with Banfield, and as of right now, this situation STILL has not been handled. I brought my dog in because she was having skin issues. After waiting well past my appointment time, I ended up spending around $220, including $40 for medicated shampoo that is NOT working. Yesterday my dog was miserable. She was itching uncontrollably, breaking out in hives, and her face was swelling. I called Banfield and explained exactly what was happening. I was told they would speak with the doctor about getting her medication so I wouldn’t have to come back in and pay for another entire visit. Nobody called me back yesterday. Nobody called me this morning. So I called THEM again this morning because MY DOG IS STILL SUFFERING. I was basically told the doctor was taking her time getting to it. Meanwhile, I’m supposed to do what? Sit here and watch my dog scratch herself raw and swell up while I patiently wait for somebody to decide this is important enough to address? And as I’m writing this, I STILL have not received a call back or a resolution. At this point, after paying $220, being given a treatment that isn’t helping, reporting that my dog’s condition was getting WORSE, being promised a callback that never happened, and then having to chase them down again myself, I absolutely believe whatever medication the veterinarian determines she needs should be provided at no additional charge to me. I’m not asking for something unreasonable. I’m asking for the dog I already paid you to treat to actually receive some relief—and for someone to care enough to follow through. This is unacceptable.

  I was not happy with the care my dog received once it was determined that many health conditions and he was written off as dead months before he actually passed away. I feel my desperation to make my dog comfortable was used to manipulate me to spend a significant amount of money duplicating test that had already been performed. I am also not convinced that the duplicate test that i was charged for were actually performed.
