I called to check on him and was told he was ready but there was a bit of blood on the tube after intubation but it was fine. He was prescribed meds and I bought them. I brought him home and a few hours later he was an under respiratory distress . Honking, wheezing, gagging, gasping for air and gums turning blue. I rushed him to the closet ER and thankfully they saved his life. He was diagnosed with a trachea tear and air pockets. His face was huge!! The pic I attached doesn’t even do it justice. The next day I called and spoke to the practice manager Angela that tried to gaslight me saying it was an allergic reaction. I requested a meeting with the chief of staff, Dr B and he confirmed it was a trachea tear and air pockets like the ER said. Dr B recommended we visit Blue Pearl ER where they are specialist. Thank God for Dr B. He has been so helpful and honest throughout this process. We had to visit this ER twice. I requested a refund from Angela, at this location and have been ghosted. They almost killed my dog and refuse to refund me. Crazy. This has been the most stressful experience. I will never visit this location or Dr McLean ( they rotate locations) again. STAY AWAY !! Also if your dog has been to the vet just stay with them and monitor them the rest of the day. You have no idea what this people are doing to pups back there.

We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including:

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
