After about 15 minutes you get transferred to a voice message that says their mailbox is full! I'm still waiting for my pet's test results. Nothing is posted in the pet portal. I'm trying to avoid taking a trip back there to get answers, but I guess I'll have to!

The service I am commenting on right now is their ultrasound service which I believe they have a roaming team that comes weekly during a scheduled day and time. They even threaten to charge you a substantial fee if you do not show up for your appointment. I say this because they did not show up for the appointment. I had a drop off at eight in the morning and normally the team is supposed to be there between 10 AM and 2PM. After 2 PM they had not even confirmed that they were gonna be there and I had other things scheduled later that afternoon so I had to go back and pick up my pet without having had the service done. I finally got rescheduled for the following week and they made no offer to compensate me for the inconvenience and time that resulted from them missing the appointment the prior week. On top of that, the fee for the ultrasound is nearly $600 which is way overpriced. The regular staff for this Banfield was kind and professional, but this recent service left me very disappointed.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
