If you follow focus on forsyth you’ll know not to bring your animal here. Not sure if it’s new management or whats going on, but this is not the place you want to bring your babies when you need a solution.

Best doctor with very affordable price! It actually shocked me when I heard my bill. I could not believe my ears! I first brought my rabbit to Winward Animal Hospital and they run their normal tests and I got a bill of $845. 2 days later, I took my rabbit back there and again they want to charge $770 for another X-ray and bloodtest. I declined and only paid $320 for X-ray and office visit but still don't know what's wrong with my rabbit. Fortunately I found Crestview Animal Hospital through online search. The staff are so kind. After they heard my story, they made a drop in appointment for me because Dr. McGruder is fully booked on that day as well as the day after. I have never met a doctor like Dr. McGruder who truly concerns about the patient, not only wants to help the animal but also does his best to keep the cost low. My first bill was only $172 including office visit, X-ray, and medicine. That was already a very nice surprise, and Dr. McGruder surprised me even more the second time when I brought in my rabbit for a follow up. He didn't even charge me for office visit, nor IV he administered to my rabbit. My bill was only $14! I could not believe my eyes when i saw it. I spent >$1100 in the other place and my rabbit had little improvement; however, at Crestview, I spent <$200 and my rabbit actually already started eating hays! Thank you, Dr. McGruder!

I took my dog here. Unfortunately he was very sick and we made the decision to euthanize him. The vet and staff were so great. They treated up kindness and compassion and the vet was up front about everything. I could not have chosen a better place for the end of this journey. I am forever grateful for the care, kindness and respect given to us through such a hard time. Excellent staff and beautiful people. Thank you for how you treated our Beau Bear and us. Wonderful people.

Our experience at Crestview Animal Hospital today was extremely disappointing. We brought our 12-year-old pug to the hospital in the morning because she was having difficulty breathing, wasn’t eating, and had been vomiting. Rather than seeing her immediately, the staff scheduled us for a regular appointment later that day and sent us an email confirmation, it did not state they were scheduling it as an emergency. When we returned for our scheduled appointment, we waited approximately 45 minutes. We then overheard staff discussing our dog and saying the appointment needed to be changed to an emergency appointment because the doctor we were scheduled with said ‘no’ (this is what the front office tech said!). We were then told we might have to wait another 30 minutes to an hour. This made no sense. If our dog truly needed emergency care, why weren’t we told that when we first came in? Why schedule a regular appointment only to change it after we’d already waited nearly an hour? Watching your dog struggle to breathe is terrifying. Clear communication and compassion are the least a pet owner should expect. Instead, we left feeling frustrated and without our dog having been seen. I understand emergencies happen and can disrupt a schedule. What I cannot understand is the lack of communication and the decision to schedule a regular appointment that ultimately wasn’t honored. Either our dog wasn’t truly considered an emergency, or this is how emergency cases are handled. Neither is acceptable. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Crestview Animal Hospital.
