- EMEmory MooreJun 9, 20265.0Using Alan’s K9 Academy to train my puppy was the best decision I could have made! From my very first inquiry, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Alan even drove all the way down to Midtown just to meet with us and map out a personalized plan. While I worked mainly with Misty, I also had the pleasure of meeting Hailey and Alyssa. Every single session was so much fun, and my puppy absolutely loved it. Misty was incredibly clear with her instructions and kept me updated throughout the entire process. I couldn’t recommend them more!

They'd both been thru basic obedience training previously, but it had gotten to the point where we were afraid we'd have to consider rehoming one of them. We decided to try an in-home trainer first and settled on Alan's program after researching many options. I told Misty, our trainer, that I had high expectations from the outset, and she made sure to meet those expectations. Long story short, we now have two calmer and more manageable dogs who are getting along just fine. The biggest takeaway for us was learning how to gain and maintain control. People who know us and our dogs (4 in all) have commented on how much calmer they are and well behaved. One star less for the e-collars - short battery life and not always easy to adjust the settings, altho they are effective.
