Biggest waste of time. Do not recommend. Poor communication by the front desk. Won’t work with your animal unless you bring paperwork, but will not tell you that in advance. They wait until after you’ve waited an hour and a half. Feels like they’re just grasping at making money even when it’s not in the best interest of your pet, their heart is not in the right place.

Great doctors and pretty good price wise but the front desk people have never been nice to me once, whether in person or over the phone. The other day I was stressed because my cat was in while I was away and the person on the phone was talking to me like I was stupid and it made me feel worse than I was already feeling. There have also been several instances of staff on the phone claiming I don’t have an account with you guys even though I’ve been to this vet for over a year and my cat has had surgery here. I think the animal care is great but I am not treated in a way that makes me feel great by the front desk staff.

Monday night my 15 week old golden doodle was bitten by a copperhead around 8:20pm. In a frantic to get him help we took him to Carroll County Animal hospital. When entering the office my daughter was told that they were about to close and may not be able to see him, However they did start treatment on him with the wrong medications which ended up costing us more money at Blue Pearl animal hospital in Atlanta as they had to give medication to counter act what had been given to him. So on top of paying them almost $400 for useless treatments we had to pay an additional $1800 for the proper treatment and $300 for the medication to counter act what had been given to him. I am happy to say that my pup is now recovering well and at home, however I will NEVER use Carroll County Animal Hospital again. I will make that drive to Atlanta for proper treatment. This is NOT my first negative experience at Carroll county but it’s definitely my last!!! I will also tell everyone I know to avoid this place at all costs!! They don’t care about your fur baby just about robbing you blind and causing more harm than good!!!

Used this place recently, and the nursing staff are really sweet, and the vets. I can't say the same on the front desk, and no condolences, nor anything when picking up my 14 year old dog's ashes. They are pricey as well, and the front desk needs improvement and this occupation requires love and empathy from all whom work with people, not people at the desk giving attitudes, and judgmental looks to those who are there already hurting over their beloved animal. My baby was euthanized here, a little compassion and empathy goes a long way, something a few in the front desk could learn. Bitter-sweet experience overall.
