Banfield Pet Hospital® - Midtown provides quality and attentive health and wellness care for dog, cat and small animal pet patients. Our veterinarians and staff are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership and preventive health care with a full-service medical facility offering general services like routine vaccinations, microchipping, dental and surgical care and more. We are accepting new patients now.
I do not recommend this Banfield location.
I brought my newly adopted dog, here because they had part of her medical records. Since the previous owner didn’t give me her full vaccination history, I trusted Banfield to review her file before giving any vaccines.
After the appointment, I received her records and realized they gave her another rabies vaccine even though she had already received one in April 2026. They also didn’t start her initial Leptospirosis vaccine as needed.
I booked an “In Room” appointment online, but when I arrived they said it wasn’t available. My dog wasn’t seen for over 3 hours. The veterinarian and the veterinary assistant were both kind, efficient, and took good care of my dog once they finally saw her. My issue is with the long wait, poor communication, and mistakes with her vaccination records.
Because of these mistakes, I had to go to another vet, pay for another exam, and spend more money. There are other clinics with similar prices, much faster service, and better overall experience. I wouldn’t come back.

I should have let this review earlier, but I wanted to be sure of my review and at this point I have now had more than three dozen appointments between my three cats and just about everything under the sun, they're a bit high needs :). Staff here is always very friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable right from the front desks throughout your process. Dr. Park is always asking about our other pets, even the ones that aren't there for the appointment. He has a different style. You just have to get to know him. He's very kind and loves animals; everyone there loves animals & I think that's a good requirement. We've been to other vets 4 to be exact in Atlanta and we left because it was clear some people do not like their job or animals. We have a biting dog who's a vicious sucker. We have an old cat who's always at death's door and we have an extra overweight cat who has no time for anyone. They only show love to all three. The only improvement is the messaging system, it would be nice to text instead of call. We highly recommend Banfield Ponce for economics, compassion, and appointment availability.

Awful experience today as well as the last few appointments. I don’t even know why I gave them a try again after previous bad experiences. Thought they turned over a new leaf, nope. Wait times are abysmal. I don’t even know why I bother making an appointment when they make you wait an hour or more past your scheduled time. For example, I had an appt today at 11:30. Arrived on time, was shown into the waiting room, proceeded to make us wait 45 mins. Then the tech comes in and says we can either wait another 1.5hr-2hrs or just turn our appt into a drop off. My dog has extreme anxiety and cannot be dropped off to be left in a cage for 2 hours. Mind you if I thought that was an option, I would’ve made an appt for a drop off. No apologies, nothing. Just “we don’t know how our day is going to go and there’s people ahead of you”. What does that even mean? Maybe don’t double book your customers appointments!
I’m considering just cancelling my membership and going private. You get what you pay for.

Bree (the Vet assistant/nurse) is amazing!
She greets you and your pet with a smile every time. She’s knowledgeable to almost every symptom a puppy can have for various things. She makes you and your pet feel like you’re the only patient she’s seen all day.
The front staff young lady Kalilah (not sure if the spelling of her name) is great as well.
She takes initiative to call and follow up on your pet the next day if she’s aware your pet was ill.
These two ladies should be used as mentors for onboarding new Banfield employees all over.
Thank you from Mom and Czar

Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
