  We brought all three of our dogs to Petco to get their shots, expecting a professional and respectful experience. Instead, one of the employees slapped my wife’s hand while telling her how to hold her dog. There is absolutely no reason for an employee to put their hands on a customer in that manner. If the way she was holding the dog needed to be corrected for the dog’s safety, the employee could have explained what needed to be done and helped her appropriately. There is a big difference between providing guidance and physically slapping someone’s hand. We brought our dogs there trusting that they would be handled professionally, and we expected that same level of respect to be shown to us. This experience was completely unacceptable and has seriously damaged our trust in Petco. We will think twice before bringing our pets back. I hope management takes this incident seriously and addresses how customers are treated at their vaccination clinics.

  I only go here if I really need to, their crickets and Dubia roaches die really fast and are not kept well but they are good for cheap options for emergency’s. They always have full tanks of fish and the fish are not kept well, there’s so many dead fish just sitting in the tank for days. Their reptiles and small animals are also badly kept and some of them looked pretty sick. Small pets are not petco’s strong suit but great with dogs and cats and great options for toys treats food beds and crates. Employees here are always so sweet and helpful so three stars.
