I almost never post negative reviews, but today I feel like I need to.
I’ll start by saying that I’ve never really had any negative experiences with this Banfield location before. In fact, I was recently helped by Faith and Ashley S. — I believe that’s her name — and had a very positive experience.
However, today was extremely disappointing, and honestly, it felt personal because of the way I was treated.
I noticed that my dog was feeling ill, so I went online and booked a drop-off appointment for 6/18/26 at 8:15 a.m. I freed up my schedule, got my two young kids ready, and drove 30 minutes to drop off my dog. When I arrived, the front desk employee working at 8:15 a.m. on 6/18/26 told me she did not see the appointment and that the online appointment scheduler “doesn’t work.”
The way she said it made me feel like I was supposed to already know that. She did not apologize for the inconvenience, and I felt completely dismissed. There was no empathy, no attempt to help, and no concern for the fact that I had brought in a sick dog after making what I believed was a valid appointment.
Instead, she told me to call the Ocoee location.
I left and called Ocoee, but they did not have any availability. I then called this Winter Garden/Daniels Road location again to schedule an appointment for tomorrow. The same employee answered, and once again, she was not friendly or helpful. She told me the next available appointment would be four days later. At no point did she seem concerned about whether my dog would receive the care he needed.
I ended up scheduling an appointment with the Ocoee location on Maguire Road, where the staff at least seemed friendly and understanding.
Because of the previous positive service we received from Faith and Ashley S., my wife and I had been planning to sign up for Banfield’s wellness plan. After today’s experience, I no longer feel comfortable doing that at this location.
From my point of view, I made an online appointment, spent over two hours of my day preparing for and driving to that appointment, used gas, rearranged my schedule, and tried to get care for my sick dog — only to be dismissed by someone at the front desk who acted like my situation did not matter.
I’m not sure if I’ll return to this location. I’ll see how the service is at the Banfield in Ocoee tomorrow, but at this point, I’m strongly considering switching to a different vet that values its customers and takes concerns like this seriously.

“I just had the most incredible visit with my two dogs at Banfield Hospital ! From the moment we walked in, Faith and Sarah at the front desk made us feel so welcome. Nurse Ros,was so attentive, and Dr. Fernandez was absolutely phenomenal—so knowledgeable and caring. I left feeling confident and so excited to put all the new tips into practice. Thank you to the entire team—you are truly top-notch!”

This is the worst Banfield location. Almost every time I make an appointment through their app, I receive a call (30 minutes or less before my scheduled time) saying that they don’t have available doctors. Right now I called for an appointment, they said they’re booked up for the day (even when the app shows more than 15 slots available!!!!) Lady in the phone said I can’t trust their online booking system! Unbelievable. Also, when trying to complaint at her, she just said “take to corporate”. This did not happened just once or twice, but at least 10 times! I’m canceling this plan, thank god I’m almost done in the year contract.
And don’t reply saying you want to accommodate my frustration through email. Get your online booking system right!

Go to the Ocoee location instead. We had the displeasure of speaking to the front area manager. The actual manager, and she was the most impolite, sassy, non-helpful person you could have working the front. She had absolutely zero customer service, she was rude to my wife and I, and even down-talked her colleagues who actually tried to help remedy a situation that she couldn’t be bothered to even acknowledge. I couldn’t tell you her name because she wasn’t wearing any form of name tag or ID

If there was an option for 0 star, I’d actually choose that!
I called regarding my cat getting flea medications. I asked if I could get a virtual appt. He regularly goes here. The front desk lady rudely said they never do virtual appointments, yet I was scheduled for one before so I don’t know why she said that. I called another Banfield and the front desk lady there was very nice and she said I shouldn’t have to get an in person appt to get the flea meds prescription as long as my cat had a physical there within the year. My cat was seen there in Winter Garden for a physical and dental work in April of 2026. Very recent. I called Winter Garden Banfield location, the one with the rude customer service. The same rude lady answered the phone. I told her what the other lady in other Banfield said. The rude lady sighed and asked how many medications I was gonna get. I told her I was planning on buying it in another location. She said, “ok just order it then” and then she hung up the phone before I could ask any more questions. I had some other questions and I tried calling back but no one answered. I called the other Banfield location and I asked for the manager’s name in the Winter Garden location. I then called the Winter Garden location and asked to speak to manager but they said manager wasn’t there. So i’m switching home vet locations from Winter Garden to the Ocoee location. I booked my cat an appt for a physical there just so they can prescribe him the flea meds. He had fleas a few weeks ago so it was important to get the prescription. I used the advantage ii on him when he had fleas and he had a bad skin reaction to it. So I wanted to get a prescription for something else for next month.
This is the worst customer service I received from Banfield and I’ve been a member since 2017. I pay 54 a month and I do not deserve to be treated like this. This location that treated me horribly and had terrible Customer service is located at 3077 Daniels Rd. Winter Garden, Fl 34787. The interaction with the rude front desk lady there was on Sunday May 17, 2026 around 2:44pm and 3:05pm. In fact, I had to change to no caller id so they would finally answer the phone. They wouldn’t answer the phone after my first phone call without me changing to no caller id. I even spoke with a Petsmart worker to try to help me with talking to anyone who could help me in Banfield, but no one could help me. This quality of service is inexcusable and I’m definitely switching locations. The one with good customer service is located at 2564 Maguire Rd. Ocoee, Fl 34761.
