  Golden Heart Vet Care surpassed our expectations. The initial call to make an appointment for our fur baby was a very pleasant. Upon arriving we were met with a very pleasant staff. We met Dr. Joyce (very nice) and she performed a complete and very thorough examination carefully explaining the care and cost. She was also very happy to answer all our questions. We have been dog owners for quite a few years and we have never experienced this level of service. Needless to say we were very very pleased. The office also is very very clean.

  Our experience at Golden Heart Veterinary clinic was filled with compassion and genuine care. We brought my little baby Romeo here for a second opinion after a bad experience with another vet and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, everyone was kind and understanding. They even knew Romeo by name before I even stepped in the door and addressed me (even with never being there before). The doctor explained everything clearly and gently that given his condition it was best to let him rest peacefully. We really appreciated the honesty and this was a breath of fresh air in contrast to the vet that we took Romeo into previously that wasn’t honest and took advantage of us financially. What touched us most was the kindness they showed after Romeo was euthanized. They wrote us a heart felt letter on a card with watch person writing a little message, followed up with a call and kept Romeo’s belongings safe until we were able to pick them up. In this difficult time I wouldn’t have wanted to go anywhere else to be supported and to have this care.

  I went to Golden Heart because my dog was very sick and our regular vet wouldn’t be able to get him in for TWO DAYS. I started crying in the waiting room when he couldn’t even stand up to walk in the exam room. A kind tech came and carried him back (he was over 50lbs) and one of the receptionists gave me a hug. I could tell immediately she didn’t hug me because it was “the right thing to do” it was because she is a caring and empathetic person. Another receptionist got me tissues and offered me water or whatever I needed. If that was the best of my interactions it would have been enough. The vet (I can’t remember her name because I was so upset) came in with kindness and ordered blood work. I sat on the ground with my boy the whole time to try and comfort him, and every time the vet or any techs came in, they sat in the ground right beside us. Unfortunately, my sweet baby was beyond sick and the best option was to ease his pain and say goodbye. The office was already closed at this point, but they made sure to give me all the time in the world to say goodbye. I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful and compassionate every person I came into contact with was. I will be switching vets for my other dog! I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else now.

  Great vet! We moved to the area a couple of years ago and needed a new vet for our dog. We picked Golden Heart because they had weekend hours which worked out great for a couple of emergencies. Recently we had to put our dog down and Golden Heart was very compassionate and made the process as easy as it could be. Will use them again when we get a new animal!

  My husband and I have been bringing our three cat children to Golden Heart since the year they opened their veterinary practice. All of the doctors there are fantastic but special shout out to Dr. Kispert! She is so friendly and incredibly sweet with our Jack, Sally, and Lila. She is always patient and takes her time to explain everything going on and makes sure she answers any questions we may have... we never feel rushed or pushed to the side. We are especially grateful for her because our senior cat was recently diagnosed with CKD (which we don't have previous experience with) and Dr. Kispert has been beyond helpful in assisting us to navigate this new challenge and provide the best care we can. Can't say enough good things about Golden Heart!
