  Very disappointing customer service experience. I brought my dog to Banfield Pet Hospital at Palm Beach Lakes to have his anal glands expressed. I called earlier that morning and was specifically told that no appointment was necessary and that I could bring him in at any time. However, when I arrived, I ended up waiting almost an hour without any clear communication about when my dog would be seen. After waiting all that time, a nurse technician named Madi came out and spoke to me in a very rude and dismissive manner. She told me they were extremely busy in the back and had no idea how much longer I would have to wait. What shocked me the most was when she told me that if I didn’t want to wait, I could just take my dog to a grooming service instead, where it would even be cheaper. I found that response incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate, especially coming from someone working at a veterinary hospital. When I expressed my frustration, she insisted that she wasn’t being rude. Unfortunately, her attitude and the way she communicated made me feel completely dismissed as a client. I fully understand that veterinary clinics get busy, and I have no problem waiting when necessary. My issue is the lack of communication, the misleading information provided over the phone, and, most importantly, the disrespectful customer service. My dog was eventually seen, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously. Clients deserve to be treated with kindness, professionalism, and respect, especially when trusting a veterinary hospital with their pets.

  Pets Mart referred me for my cat. I was informed that the only person available to help me was allergic to cats. (In a veterinary office?) I believe they suspected my cat would be difficult, but they could have been honest.

  The staff is so loving of my pets. They care about them as if they are their own. I love that about that hospital.

  If you love your pet, do not take them here. My dog is dead because of the sheer incompetence and negligence at Banfield. For 8 months, I brought my dog in repeatedly, raising clear concerns that something was wrong. Despite multiple visits, the staff consistently dismissed our symptoms and failed to order necessary diagnostic exams on time. It took them eight full months to finally take our situation seriously—and by then, it was too late. If you want a team that actually listens, acts with urgency, and protects your pet's health, go somewhere else. Banfield failed us completely.
