  I had to return a bag of cat food that had some bugs in it. They apologized and processed the return quickly and were helpful. I called the manufacturer to give them the lot number. They also apologized and were helpful. I’ve been buying this particular brand for years and have never had a problem before.

  I adopted a baby Regal Jumping Spider, “Pat,” from my local Petco, and I’m very happy to have this little one! Pat is still in the original enclosure from the store—I just modified it a bit to better meet a baby jumping spider’s needs. All of the sales-floor staff I’ve encountered at this location have always been kind, friendly, and helpful, and I really appreciate that. I do have one suggestion regarding the jumping spiders. The spiderlings were displayed near the front of the store in small enclosures that were sitting out where customers could easily pick them up and handle them without assistance. Because these babies are so tiny and delicate, I think they would be much safer displayed somewhere more secure, where an employee can assist customers who want to see or purchase one. This would help prevent the enclosures from being dropped, shaken, opened, or handled excessively. This isn’t meant as a criticism of the employees—I’m mentioning it because I care about the animals and think a small change in where they’re displayed could make a big difference for their safety and welfare. Pat is settling in nicely, and I’m very glad I brought this little spider home. 🕷️❤️

  While I love the stores selection of products and the staff is super helpful and friendly. I was distraught when I happened upon tarantulas in the store. It was disturbing and I will avoid this store in the future. Unacceptable.
