I know Banfield is a massive company, but when Pauline answers the phone, it feels like a neighborhood business where people genuinely care. Pauline has worked at this location for over 30 years, and I’ve had the pleasure of knowing her for all of them. She has always treated my family and pets with kindness, patience, and warmth.
When Pauline isn’t there, Adam steps right in and carries that same energy forward. He somehow remembers every one of my pets and has a special way of calming their anxiety the moment they walk through the door. Truly great staff.
Now let me talk about Dr. Santos, or as we call her in our household, “Auntie Santos.”
She treats every one of our four-legged babies as if they were her own. They absolutely love her, and honestly, so do we. She has been our family veterinarian for over 15 years, and I genuinely do not think she realizes how much of a positive impact she has had on our household over the years simply by being so compassionate and so exceptional at what she does.
We truly hope Banfield recognizes how valuable Dr. Santos is to this community. She is a big reason our family continues to trust this location, and from conversations I’ve had with other pet owners in the lobby, I know many people feel the same way.

I started going to Banfield after a friend highly recommended Dr. Santos. Dr. Santos and the Banfield staff are exceptionally professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive to my dogs' needs. I have always had positive interactions with the Banfield team and have witnessed them tend to other people and pets in emergency situations, handling them with care and composure. Dr Santos is especially compassionate and caring when it comes time to say goodbye to our companions. We were especially touched when the Banfield staff sent a sympathy card to our home following our dog's death. I highly recommend Banfield and Dr. Santos for your trusted pet care.

I lost my beloved cat due to what I can only describe as complete negligence, and I want every pet owner to know what happened.
I brought my cat in at 8 AM trusting she would be examined and cared for. Instead, she was placed in a cage and left there — unexamined, unattended — for six hours. At 4 PM I received a phone call telling me she was dead. Dr. Santos’ explanation? She was too busy to look at her.
When I came to pick up my cat, she was found soaked in urine. She had been left completely alone in her final hours with no one checking on her.
What made this even harder was the complete lack of compassion from Dr. Santos — no sympathy, no accountability, nothing. Losing a pet is devastating. Being treated with indifference on top of that is unacceptable.
No pet owner should go through what I experienced. Please consider other options for your animal’s care

I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing their pet to Dr. Santos. My dog was prescribed antibiotics for two months with no improvement, and Dr. Santos refused to reconsider her diagnosis. A second opinion revealed my dog had been mistreated.
Beyond the medical concerns, the experience was deeply unpleasant. Dr. Santos sees an excessive number of patients per day — meaning appointments are rushed, animals are barely examined before being vaccinated, and individual health needs are ignored. She speaks condescendingly to pet owners and dismisses any questions or concerns.
I understand vets are busy, but the volume of patients here comes at the direct expense of animal care. My dog’s health suffered as a result. Please do your research before choosing this vet.

My pet is a Banfield patient. Banfield emailed me a discount opportunity to My cat’s next round of Revolution WITHIN the year of his Exam and vaccinations.
I placed the order online using the Banfield discount
I was charged for the product- then charge was reversed however, I was never notified that they were not going to ship or why.
So, I called my Banfield clinic and they insisted that I come in for an additional exam to get Revolution medication. Once I arrived, the doctor agreed I was within the year!
Yet they charged me for an early exam to gatekeep the Revolution script.
My pet’s exam wasn’t due until 2 months later.
Patients should NOT have to pay for an ADDITIONAL ANNUAL exam just to get a script.
Bad tech, bad service, failed to close the loop with online orders, even when the company has your physicians name and location.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
