Dr. Meghan Allen at the Citrus Park Banfield displayed compassionate, quality care to my nervous dog. She spoke calmly and took her time. She sat on the floor to do the exam so that my dog felt comfortable and was able to stay close to me. She explained everything thoroughly and patiently. Best vet experience ever! Highly recommend her to anyone.

- JMJalissa MMay 7, 20265.0I had taken my cat Lupita in after a few days to a week of not acting like herself and just overall getting thinner and hiding more and that’s where I learned she has pancreatitis and in DKA and these doctors and staff did everything to help her come back from it and she is finally home, happy and feeling so much better! Adjusting to a newly diabetic pet can be a lot for someone new to it but they kept in contact with me and allowed me to ask all the questions I had to make sure I was doing what is best for her quality of life and even set me up with a glucose monitor on her so her levels can be checked minute by minute! I cannot be more thankful they helped my baby girl feel better. She is my entire world and I’m so lucky she has a wellness plan that will ease my mind with future appointments and testing. Adding pictures of when she first when in and now!

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
