- JSJANET SHERINJul 8, 20265.0A neighbor recommended Banfield to us a few months ago. At the time we were unhappy with our current veterinarian and were looking for an alternative. We went to our nearby Petsmart and checked out the programs they offer. We have since had both of our dogs checked out completely and had their teeth cleaned. We are VERY happy so far. Everything was explained to us in detail and all of questions were answered satisfactorily. This is exactly what we were looking for!
- KMKaylie ManikisJun 18, 20262.0Dr. Ravi is completely unprofessional and if you are a Christian I highly recommend that you do not bring your animals to him unless you want to be treated with the utmost disrespect for your personal beliefs. His bedside manner should be looked further into. Telling inhumane facts with no scientific backing to grieving pet owners is ridiculous. He has personally made snide remarks to families when they are trying to put down their animals peacefully. Will not go into further detail but I know my place and he should know his and saying that “dogs do not go to heaven” when you have grieving pet owners in the room is just beyond comprehension. Your job as a vet is to keep your personal beliefs aside when handling clients and to give your best most educated response based on what they taught you in your trainings. As someone who has been trained to deal with grieving families ON HOSPICE I could NOT imagine telling them “oh your dads not going to heaven” after they’re telling him that they will see him again on his death bed. Clearly he does not think of his animals as family and if you’re like me and also think of your animals as family. Dr. Ravi as a professional I recommend you to look into personal trainings to learn this skill. I know it can be difficult sometimes but there’s always room for improvement and take this comment as such. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR BABY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE PLS THAT WILL TREAT YOU AND THEM LIKE FAMILY!!! Banfield is also extremely overpriced. Personally I would expect quality but this simply is just not. DO BETTER BANFIELD!!

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.

We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including:

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
