  We have been dealing with Pecto in other locations for many years. Unfortunately, the Tallahassee location is the worst I have dealt with. There is no client communication experience at all, and the grooming staff do not know how to properly deal with clients. I booked a grooming appointment for my dog and arrived 10 minutes late because of traffic. I apologized and explained the situation, but they told me they would not take him, and they were very rude about it. This is not the first time I have had problems with them at both locations. If appointments cannot be accommodated at those times, then those time slots should not be available on the website. This is not professional at all.

  Another great experience with McKenna and Alexis helping me shop for my dogs and making it fun. My three dogs are gonna miss them big time as we prepared to roll out of Tallahassee. Thank you both very much for making all of our visits. A special experience for my dogs.

  I love this location!! Best customer service, variety of products as well. Carolyn is the best!! She is down to earth, genuine, extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

  I wish I could give zero or negative stars here. I brought my medium size border collie in early this morning, and his hair was a little matted behind his ears and they said all they could do was shave him bare Because they didn’t have the training to do anything else. And he’s a long-haired dog, which when you book you choose short or long hair, and I chose long hair and gave specific instructions in the box online. They wanted to basically shave him all the way down to an inch and he’s naturally long-haired dog and has a double coat so if you do that, they are incredibly hot because the second layer of fur act as an air conditioner for them in the summer, especially. So he would be miserable and hot. They have no training they were not friendly from when I said “hello how are you? We’re here for an appointment.” Just smug faces with frowns and they looked like they were miserable to be there. I almost wanted to leave a pun saying hello because of the way that they all looked. I waited outside the door for 10 solid minutes while they were looking at me, but wouldn’t let me in because the grooming opens at eight, but the store opens at nine. I stood there and waited until they finally came out and asked me if I was here for grooming. They got three groomers together to try to figure out how to do a simple haircut on a regular long-haired dog and couldn’t figure it out. So I left and I will never be back and I will be calling the corporate office to complain. Do not go to this place! I have gone to two other groomers here in town and have never had a problem and he’s always looked wonderful and they followed my instructions to a T. I don’t know what their problem is or if they were just having a bad day or didn’t want to be there or hate their job jobs, but it certainly looked that way and I would not take a mutt off the street to this place. Stay away. !!!! They have no training and even admitted to it.
